Season #3 is generally acknowledged to be the worst season now. Season
#4 was a step up from season #3, despite a weak ending. Season #2 has a
mixed response from people - some like it, and some hate it.

sure it's a 30-minute episode show.

Hmm, I suppose he could have an alternative provider that he's using
now. For myself I can get service from Comcast or AT&T. Or maybe he's
using a 5G service which can provide speeds that are good enough for
streaming. Though I'm not up on which providers allow for enough data
usage to make it worthwhile for significant TV viewing.

I tried to read the book for a book club. The premises are

(1) After a plague kills almost everyone, no cure,
life only continues in small enclaves

(2) The protagonists are essentially a traveling circus,
going from enclave to enclave, because performing plays
is more important than survival of humanity.

I can't imagine why they weren't shot on sight.
What could be a bigger super-spreader?

(3) References to old dramas are more important than plot.
Well, to be fair, there might not have been any plot beyond
"the show must go on"

(4) Lots of useless flashbacks to life before the plague.

_We Own This City_, docu-miniseries co-created by David Simon about the
real-life Baltimore police scandal that took place over the course of
the 21st century.

>> Perry Mason

Different from the TV series. I liked it better.

>> The plot against America

David Simon's adaptation of the Philip Roth alternative history novel in
which Charles Lindbergh defeats FDR for the presidency.

Seconded.

Also the strongest possible recommendation for _The Wire_, David Simon's
tour de force.

I watched the first couple of episodes and liked it. But for whatever
reason I just haven't gotten back to it. Same thing happened with
Reacher. Some shows just fall through the cracks.

You need to call in some carpenters to figure out where those cracks
are and fill them in as you are missing out on some great shows. I get
that some shows fall through the cracks as I certainly have the same
thing happen, but those tend to be shows that are of lesser quality.

Reacher was another show like DEFILING GRAVITY where you could just watch
the first and last one.
