What seems suspicious is if you read the story you're criticizing. The
child's diseases, "debilitating rheumatoid arthritis and osteoporosis,"
were named in the second sentence of the article. The issue was an
abnormal delay in an otherwise routine prescription refill, not the cost
of the medication, so a GoFundMe plea would have been irrelevant to the
problem.
