Commissioner Gordon’s office in Batman (1966) is set up like that. But they
actually early on built a little alcove outside of the doors and had people
enter and exit that way. Once again it would have to be a pod stuck on the
side of the building like Blue Bloods. They stopped that fairly quickly
though.

Behind Batman, you can see the window and just to the left of O’Hara. you
can see a door that pretty clearly goes to the same place as the window!
Also, there are stairs down from the main door, so Gordon has another one
of those pesky sunken living rooms for an office.

I think I've mentioned that the view from Gordon's window (that is, the
one behind his desk) is of the New York General building, which sits
above Grand Central Terminal in Manhattan. It doesn't show the much
bigger Pan Am building, which was built ca. 1961. (I think it's now
called the MetLife building.)

The view from Gordon's office window is the same as the view from Peter
Graves' apartment window in Mission: Impossible.

A sun *setting* ? Means that you are *winning* ?

The sun was setting in the EAST. I hope the caps helped that time.

I must have gotten confused because of that reality show BTR1701
mentioned about renovating the Brady house, I remember hearing about
that.

Hey as long as you have an orange kitchen that goes a long way, lol.

I have actually been in that apartment set and walked around to look at the
background outside the window and it was a night shot. Clearly they had
more than one. :-)
