Smart.. Evil, but actually a smart move. So when does Berry start
portraying evil villains in the films given her obvious real life
experience?

Courts in potential drunk driving or other public intoxication cases
will frequently order the defendant wear a TAD (Transdermal Alcohol
Detection) device (its like those blood sugar monitoring devices for
diabetics) with a "No Alcohol" condition for OR release. If Berry has
been involved in multiple instances I am surprised she hasn't had to be
wearing a TAD during one of those instances.

Supposedly she’s gotten away with it this long because they were all in

I agree it sounds Squirrley. It’s been a long time since I read about it
but as I recall, she definitely pulled this off, probably in California,
and the article said that either she had done it four previous times or
possibly this was the fourth time, but the other ones were in other states
so it didn’t count as a strike against her in California.

https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-2000-may-11-me-29022-story.html#:~:text=Actress%20Halle%20Berry%20pleaded%20no,200%20hours%20of%20community%20service.

Man, it’s been 23 years. She was drunk and ran a red light and hurt people
and they let her go for being a pretty actress.

It may actually have been 26 years. Some articles are dated 2000 and others
are dated 1997.

This article says it’s the third time she did this, but the information
apparently comes from the lawyers of the woman she hit this time:

https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-2000-may-11-me-29022-story.html#:~:text=The%20other%20driver%2C%20Hetal%20Raythatha,result%20of%20her%20head%20injury.

Ya, crimes outside CA won't count towards any strike count _in_ CA.
Another thing that might account for it is if the local DA's actually
filed charges against her. Arrests that don't lead to charges being
filed in court won't show up in any inter-state exchange of court cases.
And if the DA's office doesn't think they can prove BRD (Beyond a
Reasonable Doubt) they won't file.

Will have to rely on BTR to tell us if drunk driving is even prosecuted in
California anymore.

It is. Usually it is a misdemeanor but yes it is prosecuted. They make
up a large percentage of the cases I see in my county.

Drunk driving is considered a misdemeanor?

In Canada it's treated as not much below manslaughter - though
Canada's problem is more with ridiculously light sentencing than
charging.

If it is _just_ driving while drunk, yes. There can be enhancements
depending on how drunk as measured by BAC, or where you are caught doing
it or, or, or,.... If you actually hit something or someone while
driving under the influence then felonies come in to play. Prosecutors
usually have a number of choices and options but most of the time it is
charged as a misdemeanor.

And now it's over: the jury has unanimously found in Paltrow's favour. Condolences, anim, I know you were hoping she'd get the electric chair! ;-)

Of course, it's always possible there will be a successful appeal by the plaintiff that will reverse the verdict so don't give up hope!

Psilocybe semilanceata, also known as Liberty Caps, are considered the most widespread naturally growing psilocybin mushroom in the world, according to Psilopedia.

https://tripinpremiumsnacks.com/product/liberty-caps-for-sale/

Not only that, but they’re also the third most potent, according to tests done in 1997 by Paul Stamets and Jochen Gartz, a German chemist and mycologist.

https://tripinpremiumsnacks.com/product/liberty-caps-for-sale/
https://tripinpremiumsnacks.com/product/liberty-caps-for-sale/

Identified in 1838, P. semilanceata was the first psilocybin mushroom native to Europe to be formally recognized.
https://tripinpremiumsnacks.com/product/liberty-caps-for-sale/

This species is still wildly popular and abundant, especially in England, where the first report of a family tripping out on them appeared in print: In London, 1799, a family reportedly picked and ate wild mushrooms growing in Green Park, which caused one son to laugh uncontrollably, the father to believe he was dying, and most family members to have vertigo.

https://tripinpremiumsnacks.com/product/liberty-caps-for-sale/

How many liberty caps does it take to trip?

20 – 30 liberty caps would be regarded as a full dose, but only one or part of a large fly agaric would be required.

https://tripinpremiumsnacks.com/product/liberty-caps-for-sale/

How long does a Liberty Cap trip last?
9 hours. The effects of liberty caps are similar to those from a mild dose of LSD and can vary depending on the mood, situation and expectation of the user. Effects come on after about half an hour and last up to 9 hours depending on the numbers taken.

How long does a Liberty Cap trip last?
9 hours. The effects of liberty caps are similar to those from a mild dose of LSD and can vary depending on the mood, situation and expectation of the user. Effects come on after about half an hour and last up to 9 hours depending on the numbers taken.
