German. I had some German in school but most of my knowledge is kinda

same spelling and meaning, but only sound a bit different.
And besides those a great number of words originating in Anglophonic
countries have been adopted into Dutch without changing the spelling.
English terms in general have become very popular here.

I found German fairly easy because of the similarity to many English
words. I have also heard some similarities to Dutch when I watch a
subtitled show.

The Dutch 'W' sounds like the English 'W'. Only we don't call it 'double
U'. To English ears our word for the letter 'W' sounds like 'way'.

There is something funny with 'J' and 'Y' though.

For instance 'Yolanda' in Dutch would be 'Jolanda', but it sounds
practically exactly the same.
