And which Arab countries are willing to accept decades of terrorism
from the HAMAS die-hards for "selling out the Palestinian people" in
this way?

Because there ARE people in the Palestinian community who feel this
way (as well as their Israeli counterparts including the folks who
murdered Rabin).

There are about 2.0 million residents of the Gaza strip with roughly 3
million Palestinians in the areas NOT held by HAMAS. On top of that
there are about 1.6 million "Arab Israelis" who would be murdered by
HAMAS if they were able to.

Huh? Sounds like you agree with me as I said there were millions of
Palestinians that would need to moved which is why that isn't going to
work.

As long as HAMAS keeps supporting groups allied to Iran and regularly
shelling the Israelis the Israelis are going to now and then (note NOT
all the time) respond in kind. October 7th was about invading Israel
proper and attacking pretty much every Israeli they could find EXCEPT
the military. There wouldn't be the world outrage had the fight been
Hamas vs IDF but that's NOT what this is about and any fair minded
person knows that.

The fact that HAMAS entered Israel proper on Oct 7th makes me
particularly outraged that they are now peddling the gross falsehood
that Israel is "the aggressor"

And after October 7th so do the Israelis. Though I do think "always
reject it" was being disproven by the 'Abraham accords'. Had Trump
made his initial overtures two years earlier something might have been
accomplished. When he actually started his overtures the main drawback
was the high possibility he'd be out of office before they got
anywhere. As it was the main reason HAMAS attacked is that they felt
the parties WERE getting somewhere.

Too true. That was why I was gobsmacked Trump was negotiating with the
Arab states (pretty much all of those not directly allied to Iran
anyhow) and figured at the time "Let him try - not even Trump could
make things even worse..." - and he WAS getting somewhere which caused
Teheran and HAMAS to panic.

The bottom line is that NOTHING would have happened on October 7th and
subsequently had HAMAS not done what they did. Is that not clear to
all but the most gullible?

HAMAS has gone on the record as saying that they want to exterminate
the population of Israel and that the 1.6M Arabs living in Israel are
part of that - so the number isn't as high as you think.

Not even Hitler was preaching the "Final Solution" in 1933 for heavens
sake! And nor was he speaking publicly about massacres - in 1939 he
was talking about exile. (Now we know now the construction of the
concentration camps in Germany were already under construction on 1
Sept 1939 and the ones in Poland under construction by the start of
the Soviet invasion 22 June 1941 so that was a lie but it IS what
Hitler was saying in public)
