You are incapable of writing a critical analysis of a poem.

Your comments are invariably just a string of words ("great," "good," "excellent," "strong imagery," "good symbolism," "nice dark mood," "old school," "sonnet," "noir," etc.) that either don't apply or have no meaning in the general sense in which you apply them.

Your comments boil down to one of two things: a) "I like this poem," b) "I don't like this poem." And 99 out of 100 times your condition for liking it depends on who its author was.

No one cares who likes or doesn't like a poem.

People read reviews and criticisms in order to gain insight in elements of the poem that they might have missed.

Had you ever written your long-promised critical analysis of a Bukowski poem of your choice, I could have pointed out your failure, explained the concept, and shown you how to go about writing one.

After several tries (assuming that you possess some scrap of intelligence), you might have been able to a half-way acceptable attempt at one.

Unfortunately, your stubborn pride, coupled with your fear of being exposed as an illiterate goober (a groundless fear, since we've all known this for quite some time), kept you from making the attempt.
