I will have to have reading glasses once I've recovered from the second

You should discuss it with an ophthalmologist. The implant lenses are
not like eye-glass lenses, there are a few different options that are
all pre-made. No individualized prescriptions.

Right, that's who I saw and noticed flyers for different options, but
the prescription lenses are very expensive. A woman in my yoga class had
surgeries a few months ago, and I think she needs glasses for driving
but can get along without them for class.

Yes, you can have corrective replacements installed, but insurance probably
won't cover it.

I'm in the same boat though am frustrated as my first was done last
July with the second scheduled for late Aug /.early Sept and twice
been delayed. Think I would have gone nuts had I not been able to
drive since public transit around here sucks and I can't depen on my
daughter - she has her own life.

Its not so much the lenses but the surgery that costs.
