Isn't Aggie wrong in part? Yes, "Hispanic" is a reference to peoples of
the Iberian peninsula, but "Hispanic" has multiple definitions, like most
words. It also refers to peoples from places in which Spanish is spoken
as the primary language. It does not include peoples from places in which
Portuguese is spoken as the primary language; Brazillians reject refering
to themselves as "Hispanic".

It identifies neither a race nor ethnicity. Hispanics can be of any
number of races and ethnicities. Some are white; others are not.

Doctor Who ended in different years for different people. For me, the show irrevocably jumped the shark with that Big Bang 2 nonsense in 2010. So, in my head-canon, the real Doctor is still trapped in the Pandorica, and everything since then has been some kind of dream or simulation he is experiencing inside of it.

As for RTD, he is known for winding people up to generate buzz and publicity for the show. He also has to work within the mandates of the BBC and now Disney. This is what official Doctor Who has to be now, regardless of who is running it.

The falling ratings in Season 10 likely had more to do with the full gap year followed by the BBC messing around with the scheduled air time. Beyond that, viewers probably had more of an issue with the dull writing and directing in the aforementioned episode that they did with the clumsy way a disabled character was handled.

Diversity does not necessarily need to be bigoted, as you are implying here.. Minorities can be included without excluding the majority. Yes, diversity includes so called whites, or whoever happens to be the majority where the diversity is being implemented. If you think that diversity should be about the exclusion of any group, then you are pretty much on the same level as the other bigot that you were replying to.

Nope. The ratings totally collapsed after the end of Series 8 and never
recovered. It was down to the show going woke and insulting the
intelligence of the viewers with gender and identity politics. As a
result the ratings dropped down to only 2.2 million for the last Easter
special. A total ratings disaster. The female Doctor gimmick lasted only
1 episode. 3/4 of the audience has left because of wokery. It has
nothing whatsoever to do with the show's time being moved around or the
delay between series.

A male franchise was taken over by woke bigots and used to attack men,
masculinity, heterosexuality, and tell the existing audience that they
were not good enough to watch it. The new preferred audience of lesbian

The show wasn't moved around any more than it was previously and
Whittaker's series wasn't even moved around at all and the ratings still
totally collapsed, disproving that myth. Even when the episodes were
moved around for the Eurovision the ratings didn't collapse by a half
like they did for Series 9 onwards, and 3/4 for Whittaker.

Insulting and attacking the audience with wokery and wokery resulting in
totally appalling writing and characterisation is primarily to blame for
the collapse in the ratings, which fell and fell and fell episode by
episode. The audience does not want to be lectured to by woke bigots,
retards, and hypocrites.

Moffat's writing turned into a degenerate mess, and not only did he
destroy Doctor Who, it also resulted in him destroying Sherlock as well.
Chibnall's writing was worse than that of a 6 year old child that has
never read a book before.

Turning the Master into a woman drove half the audience away after the
gimmick wore off at the end of Series 8, as did Danny giving up his life
for that of a Muslim terrorist instead of coming back to be with Clara
which is what any decent writer would have written, not saved a child
terrorist in order to virtue signal. Viewers were sick of being attacked
by Clara's bad attitude to men and being insulted. How is Orson Pink
supposed to be descended from Danny Pink when both Danny and Clara were
killed off?

Doctor Who then jumped the shark, technically rode the tank at the start
of the following series. Every episode was written to virtue signal and
fill woke degeneracy quotas.

Moving the show around perhaps resulted in 1 million less viewers, but
it doesn't explain a drop of 3 to 4 million, half the ratings.

To explain the design of the Dalek casing and to represent the Daleks
being mutated Kaleds. When I watched the story when it first aired I
thought that Davros was half Dalek himself.

The actual character though including his wizened appearance is based on
Ras Thavas from Edgar Rice Burroughs', The Master Mind of Mars, and
Synthetic Men of Mars. The plot of Genesis of the Daleks is derived from
the first 6 chapters of Synthetic Men of Mars and the name Davros is
Thava-Ras consonentally shifted to Davros, as done by ERB himself later
on in the same story with the name of one of the other characters.

Many factors have caused the decline in viewer numbers, including the
even less accuracy than it used to be of the ratings system itself as
more people move to other forms of viewing shows.

Bad writing, bad acting, bad directing, stupid "Politically Correct"
changes, production delays (some caused by Covid lockdowns), etc.

The viewing numbers outside the UK will likely fall again due to the
new episodes only appearing on Disney+ and many people simply won't
want to pay the subscription fee.

That's one of the main reasons why they've brought back David Tennant -
they're trying to entice viewers who have dropped away by bringing back
one of the best loved modern incarnations of The Doctor. The reality is
that it far too little, far too late for most of us to care any longer
about "Noo Who".
