I have never heard of these guys. If anything, I'm surprised that classical music people actually care about the Grammys. At least I've never purchased anything based on whether it won a Grammy or not. I can't even recall any of the past winners or nominees (save for Bernstein's Shostakovich 1 and 7, which I recall saving up my allowance for back in 8th grade). Maybe my childhood warped by The Simpsons poisoned my outlook of the Grammys?

I trimmed portions that were
no necessary for my reply.

I didn't ask you, nor anyone
else, to consider another POV.
I only mentioned that other
POVs are possible.

Tnis might be the impression
you got. However I wasn't
looking at the taxonomy of
music (or any other domain).
All I notice and I care about is
how music sounds to my ears.
I have absolutely no interest in
intellectualizing and rationalizing
sensory experiences. I overcame
my Freud/Jung/Szasz addictions
decades ago.

Everybody knows Monty kicked
them out.

Germany does not interrelate with
anything else. It is completely self-
referrential, homoiconic and meta-
circular.

I couldn't care less about aesthetics.
Or about music's implications. I am
not a philosopher. I am only a plain
consumer of plain music (no brass
please!).

See above.

You should write record reviews, if you
haven't done so already. The world has
a dire need of having music explained
through architecture -- as my friend
Clara used to point out.

Sounds like a great new application
for blockchain.

Le Grand Prix du Disque Charle Cros
