I don't think you can, Yads.

I watch Doctor Who for entertainment. I don't take it seriously. I don't
care one way or the other whether it's retconned or not. I don't think RTD
will retcon it. He'll either ignore it, or explore it further. It opens up
more possibilities for the character instead of reducing them. The Timeless
Child is not something I personally would have come up with. But I don't
write for the show. I'm just a viewer.

To all intents and purposes, from what little we are shown, Tecteun IS the
Division. Its operatives are few and secretive.

The Division HQ at that point is between universes. Who else has access to
it? The Ood is alone, and is reversing the damage done by the Flux as best
it can. The Occam’s Razor solution is - the Ood finishes its work, sets the
base to destruct, and leaves. Without direction from Tecteun, remaining
operatives rejoin mainstream Time Lord society and the Division fades away.

You may want to envisage whatever you want but the general impression we
were given is that Flux was the end of that story, unless and until some
future showrunner picks it up and goes with it. Let’s assume it’s over,
that’s the best option.

This is the problem with any “they’re gone” “this is the end” “they’re all
dead” scenario. This is a TIME TRAVEL show. The Master didn’t wipe out the
Time Lords in 2020. He wiped them out in whatever year Gallifrey was in
during that episode. Which could be billions of years in the future, or
millions in the past. And once earlier Time Lords find out about it, they
will work to prevent it. In any case, whenever they are needed, by the show
runner, the Time Lords will be back.

You’re missing the point, which is, as far as the SHOW is concerned, The
Timeless Child arc may be over (or will be by the time Jodie regenerates).
What you have in your head is irrelevant to the way the show works.

There’s no reason to wait for me. I can’t speak for Stephen’s
reaction to a hypothetical situation. Or a lumberjack named
Yopu’s reaction either.

Personally, my reaction would be to hide from all the flying
pigs. And wonder whether or not the retcon will be retconned
later.

I hope we don't get too many flying pigs. Bacon's expensive enough...

Time flies too. Somebody wanted to know if they smashed a clock, would they
be guilty of killing time? I think it all depends on whether the clock
strikes first...
