Still have the pics, except for one I accidentally deleted. *None have
your name on them, natch! I took the photos only to prove I was actually
at PROV. The photos prove I was at PROV, prove I requisitioned boxes of
records (labels visible) and the PROV website shows all records as
*open* which means the public (yes, even you) can access them. But what
you *won't find* at PROV is any record of your name having signed up to
any apprenticeship, any TAFE card with your name, and any record showing
you are trade qualified.

The diagnosis developed as more information came to hand - ie. the time,
place and circumstances under which the failure occurred. Two
posibilities firmed up - fatigue failure due to overheating of valve,
fatigue failure due to extreme valve bounce. I even detailed the process
leading up to fatigue failure - exactly the same as I would have
expected apprentices to do in TAFE classes. They could do it - you
obviously couldn't.
