Demise of Neanderthals was blamed on supervolcano about 40,000 years
ago. Another about 70,000 years is thought to have shrunk humans down to
less than 1000 people. If they happened every 50,000 years or so, they
haven't wiped us out yet.
I rather worry that another one would see society collapse into a Mad
Max dystopian future.

I bet that will see them pour thru their windows like lemmings when

It isnt that certain. It is quite likely that they just interbred with
humans
and died out because they were less successful/more stupid.

Another about 70,000 years is thought to have shrunk humans down to

That last is bullshit.

> If they happened every 50,000 years or so,

No evidence that they do and no reason that volcanoes should do that.

> they haven't wiped us out yet.

And it is less clear that a new of like that would do that now.

More fool you. That didn't happen the last time.

Political and social termites.
I loathe them with a passion.
They typify what is wrong with Australia and the West.

Julian Assange is still dying in prison for the crime of doing journalism and virtually no journalist on the planet cares.

They’re too obsessed with defaming and deplatforming their ideological enemies because journalism is dead.

And so might Julian Assange be pretty soon.

The Greens have never done anything worthwhile to this country.
All they are known for is being an arm of the ALP and handing them and
vice versa, preferences at election time.

Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who
has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was,
since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape.
He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as:
Knowing when to come in out of the rain;
Why the early bird gets the worm;
Life isn't always fair; and
Maybe it was my fault.
Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend
more than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not children,
are in charge).

His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but
overbearing regulations were set in place.

Reports of a 6-year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing
a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after
lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only
worsened his condition.

Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the
job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly
children.

Think of Christianity as Australia's immune system.
The Christian belief and fact is Moslems are deceived.
Like Schizophrenics, they need therapy;
Not confirmation of their delusions.
The recognized place of worship in a Christian Nation is a Christian Church.
Mosques are the recognized place of worship only in Moslem countries
Australia's only legally defined God is our Christian God whose compound redemptive name is Lord Jesus Christ
Something as simple as denying Moslems a place to pray is all it takes to make them leave voluntarily and peacefully.

There has always been much worse than that, most obviously

There has always been plenty of that too.
