mindless compiracy theory bullshit with the sacking of Whitlam.
the stupid line about our constitution only allowing stupid Xtians
to be MPs, judges etc when in fact is actually says the exact opposite.

Presumably the result of rampant dementia.

It probably doesnt do any good to even talk to Rodley about anything
at this point. Presumable the covid has snatched another 20 iq points off
the guy and there's just no way it will register.

Simplistically, the climate system is like an oscillator with a couple
control inputs.
Left to itself it will flip into a major glaciation and out again
every now and then.
So the future state is a function of the past state without any help.
And changes of any of the control inputs are also responsible
for future states.
Why the frequency is 100ky is not entirely understood.
It is presumed to be something related to earth's orbit and/or
major volcanism (e.g. related to "big stuff" like continental drift where
1000 or 1 mn volcanoes start up -- not just the odd supervolcano that
usually doesnt have a noticable effect for even a decade).
Why the oscillator has switched on and off and changed frequency in the past
are not entirely clear, either.
But we are quite sure that co2 levels and the sun are major control
inputs. If either are forced to change -- e.g. by Jupiter tugging on
the Earth's orbit or some nitwit digging up a trillion tonnes of
carbon that had been safely stored underground 100 mn years ago and
dumping it in the atm -- the surface temp will change.
Unlike Wod's ".5 degree" -- that might have applied when he was in
junior school in the 50s -- the actual change to day is easily over 1C
compared to the start of the IR in the mid 19th C and probably now has some
momentum (because the oscillator continues to move even after control inputs
go back to neutral) to pass the 1.5C limit without any further help.
We've turned hard right and over the past few years started to return
the wheel to neutral but no way are we near that yet. We're still
headed for the centre-divider at 100 kph.

--
"Global warming" refers to the global-average temperature increase
that has been observed over the last one hundred years or more. But to
many politicians and the public, the term carries the implication that
mankind is responsible for that warming.

Too obvious to need proving, fuckwit.

Whatever produces an ice age cools things down
initially only reducing temperatures, and eventually
that sees fucking great sheets of ice, stupid.

To substantiate your stupid line, you need to come
up with what causes the initial drop in temperatures.

Bullshit and irrelevant to what is being discussed, the stupid
claim that there will never be another ice age.

IOW, it's part of a normal cycle...

Meanwhile, we're told that solar energy is the solution even though a solar
panel absorbs about 95% of the light that impacts it and only reflects about

Yep, temperatures go up.. until suddenly they start going down.. that's why
it's called a 'cycle'

Actually looking at the historical record.. the next glacial period can be
expected at any time.. indeed.. global warming could be the trigger for a
glacial period.

Bullshit.

Well, I'm sure we will all be dead before then... but unless humanity dies
out.. we will eventually have to deal with it.

>Again: An ice age is ALWAYS preceded by falling temperatures. We are
>experiencing RISING temperatures. Zero chance of an ice age.

Actually they are already calling for the next glacial period. See.. once
you understand a cycle you can predict in general what the cycle will be
anywhere along the cycle.

Further if science were to agree with you then global temperatures would be
predicted to ALWAYS increase...

Quite so. Latitudes in the Northern Hemisphere which are now temperate
were tropical before the last Ice Age. Then something happened.

**Are 'they'?

Who is 'they'?

When will this 'next glacial period' occur?

How will this 'next glacial period occur' whilst temperatures are rising?

See..

**Once YOU understand that when extra inputs are added to a "cycle",
then that "cycle" no longer works as predicted. Additionally, no one
knows is such a "cycle" actually exists. There is insufficient data to
determine that cycles exist.

**If CO2 levels continue to increase, then that is precisely what will
occur.

I suggest you examine the examples of the planets Mercury and Venus.
Venus receives approximately 1/4 the amount of Solar radiation, compared
to Mercury. The HOTTEST place on Mercury is cooler than the coldest
place on Venus. The reason?

A: CO2.

There is insufficient data to suggest that these "cycles" you speak of
exist. They may, or may not. Even if they do, then it is more likely
that humans have pushed any such "cycle" beyond critical point where the
cycle can remain constant.

**As do roads, dark house roofs, etc, etc. Here's the thing though: A
fair amount of that energy hitting Solar PV panels is converted to
another form (aka: Electricity).

So you saying Whitlam was not sacked by a constitutional Governor
General? Fact is it was the entire Federal parliament that was sack
and a replacement/takeover government was formed by Malcolm Fraser.
This only happens where treason was involved although not said.
Albo is following Whitlam's treason that had parliament sacked then.

Anthony Albanese is on the same path that Gough Whitlam had!
Removing ties to USA and Britain's orbit, moving towards that of the
Communist and Third World powers, with strong support for the Arab
lobby.

Australia play to the beat of the USA, so it's important to know who
Australia mindlessly follows.

The latest Covid China restrictions are following Biden's "thinking"
not our own medical advisors,
Just eat your food chook our media feeds you and obey.
The USA has control of the media where "our" media chook food is
sourced.
That also included social media, orders from FBI/CIA/NSA why you think
Julian Assange is still dying in prison for the crime of doing
journalism and virtually no journalist on the planet cares.

who in Australia has not had Twitter, FaceBook, Youtube etc, removed
The USA has also banned free elections, exactly what North Korea does
You don't question your media chook food though blindly believe it.
Some Questions about Biden corruption befor he was put in by the
CIA/FBI/NSA/DOJ

Probably won't eat something not media chook food.

**Points:

* We don't know if glaciations are cyclical or not.
* The regularity of glaciations is highly variable (+/- 50kyr).
* The history of this planet stretches to around 4.5 billion years. The
history of glacial periods is less than 1 million years.
* We need a great deal more information to determine if there is a
cyclical nature to glaciations.

**The present warming trend. IF there is a cyclical nature to
glaciations, as many believe, then we should be experiencing falling
temperatures right now. However, the opposite is occurring.

The reasons are:

1/ The virtual elimination of tariffs has produced hordes of
unemployed and under-employed. Instead of tariff reduction
encouraging investment in production, it has stimulated speculation.

2/ The vast production of corn syrup and the fructose derived there
from has poisoned a whole two generations of children in to becoming
fat diabetics, with probable mental deficits.

3/ A Little Learning is a Dangerous Thing. Nothing so demonstrates
this than the Technicolor media, especially mobile gadgets, all
selectively reporting on important matters, and giving voice to
barking mad clerics and venal politicians.

4/ The curious and religious obsessions with the rantings of that vile
heresiarch J.M.Keynes, who discouraged thrift and promoted handouts
and bailouts. All very essential in select circumstances, but no claw
back and end-of-life provisions instituted. Raising interest rates?
They're just costed in and passed on.

5/ Being ruled by yesterday's men. A prime example of which is that
flaccid old kicked-upstairs fuck Greenspan in charge of the financial
interregnum which produced the dot.com bubble, the mortgage disaster,
various stockmarket crashes, and Teflon banksters!

Having lost the economic war to China, is it any wonder they're all
following the latest snake-oiler?

As you say somewhere else, the earth was headed back into the next
glacial cycle until something happened in the 19th cent.
That something seemed to put carbon into the atm with zero C14, low C13
isotopes. I.e. something that had been out of contact with the biosphere
for millions of years yet had once been alive. The decline in C14 and C13
we see in atm CO2 and CH4 exactly seems to match the amount of fossil
fuels we have been burning -- now ~10 GtC per year.

Among many kinds of evidence we've gathered since the greenhouse effect
was discovered 200y ago, are changes to global tree ring spacing over the
past 5000y.

I assembled the available datasets and did some corrections for
various biases (e.g. some datasets run for only certain years and they
all come from different latitudes and species of trees).

Here is the summary plot:

The "raw data" that are so beloved by hillbillies that dont like
"messin widda nummas" looks much the same but more:
