Maybe. But no one is going to convince me that driving a train is harder
than driving an HGV or worth north of 60K a year. Its not like a pilot where
you really need to be on top of your game when things go wrong. What can a
train driver do other than apply the brakes and hope for the best?

So in that respect at least driving a train is different from driving an
HGV.
