Why? The ALP with Shorten definitely had the more rational policy
platform.

It was an entirely different matter at the time that LNP/ON/Palmer's mob
utilised the more effective scare tactics in order to con the bulk of
dumb deplorable bogans into voting the way they did.

:-))) Policy doesn't interest the punters - or at least not then.

To many voters sucked up the spin over substance at the last election
which is why Labor is offering such a small target this time round. The
LNP is, I think, in much more trouble this time round.
