months ago. I am a professional procrastinator. I still need to add
captions. But I wanted to ask if anyone has any issue with any of the
photos. Before I make them more public.

I recognise some places, even the ones where I am not in the pictures. I
was in Reims just after Dieppe with the Brooms and Johan and his new wife.

A month today, I will be going over Col de Larrau into France after a ferry
to Spain. The following day over Cols Tourmalet, Aubisque and Peyresourde,
on my way to Vielha.

I went through those gorges on my way to Carcassonne in 2019 so not going
that way this year, heading across the N260 to San Sebastian, then Picos
and Santander eventually.

I slected Larrau as a) not done it before and b) you said it was your
favourite in the Pyrenees. The D19/D18 road from Larrau to St Jean Pied de
Port looks a cracker as well.

I may have more. Before I left there was a blast in some media (FB,
mebbe) about how sex and violence had taken such a leap in our world.
Visiting a bunch of art museums on the trip, it was striking how much
sex and violence there was on exhibit over the centuries. It seems other
than technology, (ie, wood chippers,) not much has changed.

Apparently technology has produced 3 major boosts for porn over the ages.
No1 was when new materials eg canvas, paper and paints made art portable
instead of being restricted to walls and ceilings etc. No2 was photography.
No3 the Internet.

Col du Tourmalet was closed when I was there. I went as far as I could,
but had to turn around and go through Bagneres-de-Bigorre.

AIR, I made that claim just after I'd done it. I found a lot of other
fun roads in the next few days that would compete. I'm sure there are a
lot more.

You're going to have a good time.

A problem I'm having is converting my Garmin route to something I can
post. Nothing I've tried works.

No periodic / annual inspection needed in many (most?) US
states. Certainly not in Minnesota. I don't know for sure about
California but it would seem not to require it. I wouldn't give
it a 2nd thought if I were to attempt to do the same, keep a bike
in Europe for an occasional road trip. Hmmmm.

I believe Turby had arranged insurance through the fellow who garaged /
maintained the bike for him (Stephan?).
