Well, I don't think there's too much "wank" factor in leather trim, or
"Leatherette" as some of it is called these days. It's about the seat
itself. Some people like the feel of leather. Some find leather seats
more durable than cloth. some find it easier to clean. Moreover, leather
trimmed seats tend to be higher end seats than the povo pack cloth
types, and are usually better quality and offer more comfort and better
support.

I doubt he would ever be likely to own anything with Leather trim, as he
only ever seems to buy flogged out ex-mine Hiluxes once their value has
hit less than scrap, and ex taxi Dunnydores with cloth clad bench seats.
He'll have to wait a *long* time to find any of those with leather, but
in the mean time he can keep everyone amused about what an utter fuckwit
he is in criticising other people's rides when he'd be lucky to unload
the crap he has for a famil pack of paddle pops :)

Incidentally, it was Jerky Birko who named you the Village Idiot". I
just called you a cunt :)

How old is that cast off shitheap Ford you use as a *daily driver*
Darren? From what I can ascertain from all your posts thus far, all you
have *ever had* has been cast off shitheaps and that Navara is no
exception. Navara's are past their use by date when the first owners
drive them off the lot. BTW, don't include your wife's cars, she's much
smarter than you and *leases them* - salary sacrifice and all that. You
know, good financial dealings. Oh, that's right, your idea of *finance*
is somewhat fractured. Ah well!

Nothing astonishes Noddy so much as common sense and plain dealing.

Fraudster has made some monumentally hypocritical statements over the years
and this one is, at minimum, in the Top Ten. It's so absurdly and obviously
hypocritical that it raises that old chestnut, is he trolling? Or just
plain stupid? It doesn't actually matter because the bottom line is the
same. He's a buffoon.

All of our 3 cars have leather seats, never went out looking for that
feature it just happened that way.
IMHO if leather seats are looked after they are more durable than cloth.

His carrying on is quite bizzare, even if I hadn't wanted or liked the
Porsche I would have still bought it anyway, the price was a bargain and
that model is appreciating at the moment.
Its only done 90,000km and I could easily sell for $10-15k more than I
paid for it so it was a no brainer.

Not everyone does, but I find it very therapeutic. I often walk around
the shed in Winter with a heatpack against my back.

That's then thing. In some models you don't get a choice. It's leather,
or it's leather in a different colour. As I mentioned in another post, I
upgraded to the Wildtrak variant of the Ranger principally because it
has heated leather seats whereas the Sport model I was originally
considering has leather without heaters.

The dealer reckons you can have after-market seat heaters fitted which
I've seen before and which they were quoting a grand to supply and fit,
but when I looked at the Sport with those compared to the Wildtrak that
came with heaters as standard plus a shitload of other gear for an ectra
2 and a half grand it was a no brainer.

I think he suffers from a massive dose of penis envy myself. I mean, he
*always* bags everyone else's ride, yet all he owns is some worn out
povo pack 4 cylinder petrol Hilux that no one else wanted and up until
recently some shit heap ex taxi early Commodore that would have had it's
market value exceeded every time you filled the tank. IIRC that got
written off recently, and while I have no idea what he replaced it with,
if at all, I'll happily bet my left one that it was *another* fucked
old heap of shit Commodore.

He's a fucking junk collector who hates anyone for having anything else
better than what he has, and it's interesting to observe that his bestie
Clueless Clasener is *also* heavily invested at the poverty pack end of
the market. Must be something about the Dutch. They all seem to be penny
pinching mental cases.

Absolutely. Go for it.

You have two choices in life: Do what you want and be happy, or sit on
your arse and whine about other people enjoying themselves while you
continue to be a miserable no life cunt.

I'll leave you to decide who's who in that fairytale :)

Once again you pair have missed the point. This being that, given the vast
number of times Deryl sang the praises of his elderly and (very) average
Benz, then we're unlikely to "hear the end" of his hallelujahs over the
superior Coxster.

Fairynuff, with my Jeep the heater is *really* efficient, produces
heat within a few minutes. But, (getting real) my back is fucked thru
years of heavy lifting using the back instead of legs!. (How was I to
know. :))) ) Now even doing dishes means stopping every few minutes. :(

I suffer from a healthy dose of Spondylitis that came about after I
fractured my L3, L4 and L5 vertebrae, and it's at the stage where these
three vertebrae are quite significantly fused. It doesn't make bending
over impossible but it is certainly difficult, and while a surgeon told
me years ago that I'll probably be in a wheelchair by the time I turned
60 I've only got 6 months to go before I reach that milestone and I'm
not there yet.

I'm still quite physically active and do most of the stuff I've been
doing all my life, but I'm a lot slower these days and have to rely on
certain things to help get me through the day. Medications like anti-
inflammatory tablets for example, and to a lesser extent pain relief
like Panadol Osteo. I have a deep tissue remedial massage once a month,
and I also find heat packs and heated seats to be of some considerable
benefit. Especially in the colder months when things get that little bit
stiffer.

I've seen many physios, remedial massage specialists and Orthopaedic
Surgeons over the years and they all suggest different things. I've had
facet injections, I've had fusing surgery, I've had acupuncture, dry
needling, electro therapy, you name it. Some has been beneficial and
some hasn't. However one thing I've learned over the years which also
seems to be the one thing all the medical professionals seem to agree on
unanimously is that there is no one "fix" that works for everyone.

As far as the benefits of heat go, the only thing I can suggest you do
is try it and see how you go. If you have heated seats in your car and
they work well then next you go for a decent drive put them on and see
how you feel when you get to your destination. If after sitting on them
for some time you find it easier to get out of the car and move around
than you normally would then you'll have your answer.

Heat works well. It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but it works well
for me.

Strike me lucky!
So tell me Fraudster, have you forgotten all the sneering and bagging you,
the proud owner of a 2nd hand, clapped out 10yo ute, sent my way for owning
a couple of new, mid-performance Huns?

I wish that for just one day you had the ability to see what an outstanding

One minute you vehemently deny having spondylitis, next minute you admit
it. As they say, liars need a good memory.

Now you know why Victorians move *north* to places like Coffs Harbour!

Mid winter and a typically sunny day, currently 19.3C. Who needs heating
with days like this?

Well, I'll keep putting the heat on your fraudulent claims of trade
qualifications then! How about it Darren, got that proof handy? how
about stumping up those *unique numbers*? You should have 2, according
to your claims of being *dual qualified*. After all, you want to get
rid of me, that'll be the way to do it. The *only* way. I'd be soooo
embarrassed if you actually could stump up *anything verifiable* but,
Darren, I'm not even raising a sweat at the prospect of you managing
that. Does that tell you something?

You're a liar and a fraud Darren, always have been, always will be!

Well, you made sure that wouldn't happen when your business failed. Had
you even a modicum of business acumen, you might have been able to buy a
*new* Porsche instead of a used one that's reached the nadir of its
depreciation value. Hey, you could have even *leased* one and saved a
motza on tax.

Aw, that puir wee bairn Darren. He's feeling the cold. Sounds like he
needs to migrate north, at least for the winter anyway. What's your
weather like Daryl. Max of 13C and pissing down rain. I think I getting
the picture of why all you Victorians take your winter holidays in
Northern NSW or Southern Qld. A lot of them migrate here too when they
get to retirement and the freezing cold in Victoria starts hitting them
in their bones. I doubt Darren has ever been up this way, his comments
providing explicit proof of that.

>>
> I've got a Makita heated jacket, works well.

You've got a *what*??? A heated jacket? Oh what a laugh. We haven't
even got a *heater* on in the house here, no need because it's 13.6C at
the present time. I'll wager you've all got your heaters on flat out in
Victoria because, while it's now 9C in Merrimu at the moment, get this,
it currently *feels like* -1.4C. Wind chill factor up on that Mesa, I
guess, especially since they are gusting between 35-55 kp/h today in
*his* neck of the woods. Bacchus Marsh temps are the same as Merrimu but
your "feels like" temp is higher at 3.3C, must be because that Merrimu
Mesa is sheltering Bacchus Marsh from all that wind up on high.
