I had an elderly friend years ago, for whom I did errants. He was a
sincered catholic (I am an insincere one), and he was getting begging
letters all the time for `charities', when he would get one that sounded
genuine, I would get a postal order (do they still exist?) and send it
off. That meant that the people who received the money would not know

Many of those organizations kept "Cow Lists" of people who sent money to
them, and all the organizations would sell and buy those lists between
themselves.

That was all before computers, but the practise continues with `cookies'

Probably - I use spamassassin and procmail to do my spam filtering
but if your spam winds up in some kind of spam folder it should be possible
to create a rule to forward it out.

I just comminuted several of slices of Spam and put them in a spicy soup
- gallimaufry of vegetabubbles, 2 chicken OXO cubes 2 beef OXO cubes,
some tomato purée and a goodly squeeze of wasabi paste.
