just did my on-line census.

Piece of cake, very few questions, no invasive ones.
Way simpler than in any previous year.

I'm quite sure they now know where to build the next hospital in the Inner West of Sydney:

But that has SFA to do with the census.

After wrestling with error messages and Firefox incompatibilities
trying to renew my driver's licence online at the VicRoads website
yesterday (and memories of other similar recent experiences using
gov. websites), I'll _definately_ stick with the paper form, which
they provided without me asking for it anyway.

At least I exist this time, never got so much as a code to use on
the website last census.

Ever had a look at your Medicare statement? Bulk billing doctors only
get $38.50 per consultation.

The economies there just don't stack up IMO for these guys, after all
those years of hard study, and expense of running their practice.

By a clinic I assume you mean a GP practice. My understanding is that
the majority of GP practices bulk-bill. Even my GPs bulk bill for
certain groups. Much better than clogging up hospitals with GP type
complaints and waiting for hours

The waiting time referred to above is that before you get to see a doctor in an ER.

Depending how unwell you seem to the triage nurse , it could be many hours.

I don’t wait for hours, because I have had a heart attack and
the last time had stroke symptoms but it wasn’t a stroke.

Depends on whether you have hospital cover insurance or not.
In theory only a short time if you do. But the reality is that some
surgeons will refused to do one because you are too young
and will need more than one when the first one wears out.

Mate of mine had to stop working and the surgeon refused
to do the knee replacement until his knee was so bad he
couldn’t sleep. He's only about 60.

You can get the hospital insurance to do it immediately
if you have had the insurance for a year.
