Google Tensor gives you five years of updates and so does Samsung S2x.
Every Android gets updates for the Google apps for many years after that.
No iOS phone or pad ever gets updates for the Apple apps after iOS expires.

It's not even close.

google pixel 4, which had face unlock that was equivalent to apple's
face id. all other android phones with face unlock use a less secure
method that can easily be spoofed using either a photo or a selfie on
another phone, which is why it's blocked from being used for financial
transactions.

and you don't understand that lots of modern Android apps won't run
under older versions of the OS.

If you can't update your Android phone to at least Android 6 or higher,
