The Trouble With Physics, by Lee Smolin

I checked it out at the library a while ago. It is a pretty good layman's guide to some of the big problems and branches of physics...it is very readable. You might find it interesting if you got into it, if you're not already into physics. If you want something a little more advanced, you could check out some of Leonard Susskind's "Theoretical Minimum" books...they require more math understanding and discipline to get through in a meaningful way, though. (I didn't finish reading any of these books yet, but the "five big problems" part of Smolin's book was very interesting to me.) Kleppner and Kolenkow's Classical Mechanics textbook is pretty good too...some of the exercises in the early chapters were helpful for me.

I mentioned this because you sound interested in physics.

I don't think I really want to see your AI program, but that's good that you're interested in AI.

By the way, I thought a little bit about your comment regarding "legbiters" and Trump...maybe you weren't trying to be offensive. I just think it is important to be cautious about saying things about groups of people that sometimes face discrimination. (Also, I really oppose Donald Trump, so if you were addressing me as "Professor Trump" in that comment, that was slightly unpleasant.)

What do you mean by the "fundamentalism of counting by +1?" Also, if your algorithm were to work as you describe, what sort of real-world problems would you work on solving with it? Do you have any good startup ideas that aren't a secret?
