to ever show any symptoms.

Interesting point. I'm sure Paul knows that, and he's using the 2 words
to mean "without restraint". A mini lesson how language can change,
when we all aren't there to enforce definitional restraint, me as well

The most common use afaik is "Fire at will" and I'm not sure how that
works. Do countries that use firing squads use volunteers or do the
order privates to be in the squad? If the latter, even that is not at
will.

Is it also used for artillery? I forget.
