He is Arlen to many of us :-D
Older people than me will know older nicknames.

He used that nickname for quite a long time, till many people killfilled
him and he had to change again :-D

It is certainly not for privacy, despite his protestations. It is simple
trollish behaviour.

Yet it's trivial to add another filter as soon as it becomes clear that
he's nymshifted again. Evading kill files by nymshifting is ineffective.

Right. Evading kill files by nymshifting is marginally effective, but
only for a very short time.

And most important, nymshifting is a dumb thing to do, since for
anyone who wasn't sure he was a troll, it clearly marks him as a
troll. Only trolls nymshift.

And now he contaminating the Android, Linux and Apple groups with his
fake identities and the dozens of identities he has stolen.

I built a filter that uncovers him all the time.

And as soon as he calls the FBI they will arrest him. Forever.

they might be very interested in all of the piracy he's done and
continues to do, along with the many steps he's taken to hide from the
law.

It's amazing how incredibly stupid you are if you can't figure out in ten
seconds that when I post images like these I recently posted, that it's me.
<https://i.postimg.cc/Jh8fJ9C7/gsf01.jpg> Apps with gsf are reported
<https://i.postimg.cc/9fhXXxSx/gsf02.jpg> AppManager analyzes the code
<https://i.postimg.cc/T27PjJLw/gsf03.jpg> Notice linked-in gms code
<https://i.postimg.cc/wjJTpKWy/gsf04.jpg> Firebase crashlytics also

Each one of you utter morons thinks you're a genius for finally (after
years of posting) figuring out what was never hidden in the first place.

It's one reason I know all you iKooks suffer hugely from dismally low IQ.
Your whole life people have been calling you iKooks stupid.

And that's why you _jump_ on any opportunity to claim you're a genius.

Maybe, but why pay more? I've only upgraded if I needed to or if the
upgrade was about the same price as I'm currently on. I could get much
faster speeds, for more cost, but we don't need it. Other than bragging
rights I wonder what people actually use their gigabit connections for.
50mbps is sufficient for 95% of people.

High rate broadband is probably part of triple play (data, phone,TV).

TV viewing can use part of that. Generally, TV viewing
does not count towards your "data cap". On a triple play service,
the renter could be using three TV sets (so three streams of
bandwidth). I don't know if they bother to limit the TV sets.

One of the reasons for having "limited unlimited caps" on these
services, is the transit fees for constant full-rate download
can easily exceed the rent charged per month, by quite a bit.
Heavy downloaders are not profitable.

One individual for example, uploads 1TB of movies every day,
to a USENET binary server (using some sort of upper-tier USENET plan).
That would be 30TB of "cap" data per month! That's probably a
business account of some sort. And not a "normal" home account.
Hollywood takedown bots, run all day long, to cancel those messages,
then the game begins again the next day.

Some kids, run a game server on their home Internet, as an example
of something you could be doing. That's an easy way to burn through
your cap.

Some software developers who work at home, compile against the
corporate server, and that's why they need Gbit service.

Are data caps still a thing? Not had one for many years even on cheap
deals.

50Mbps is plenty for this. Regularly running multiple streams concurrently
in this household.

Sure, but that's hardly typical of home users. That'll be <<1% off users.

I'm not talking about caps but bandwidth. Home gbit internet didn't really
have a market IMO other than bigger numbers are better.

Still within the 5% I'd say.

It is on my phone. But my "cheap deal" is probably significantly
cheaper that yours. I use Mint and pay $15 a month for Unlimited talk
& text with a 4GB per month data cap. 4GB is more than enough for me,
since almost all my data usage is on my desktop computer at home.

I haven't checked plans here for a while.

There are just a couple plans left, with caps in place. One of the
caps is for 50GB/month.

My reading on the plan structure is:

Extreme rural residences ("farmers") will receive dinosaur plans with caps.
They will be stuck with DSL, because fiber is too expensive.

Urban residences will receive competitive (but expensive) unlimited plans.
(Note-some limits may apply to your unlimited plan. See the print
which is smaller than this print, for details.)

It would appear my phone company is converting all the DSL
customers to fiber. With suitable billing for such. Presumably
the cable company will win-win-win at this game. It's a good
thing I don't have any phone company stock :-) The problem with fiber,
is the need to bring out a mole for new installs. The mole contractor
is not exactly "flexible", as they roll a few different pieces of
equipment, and that can't be cheap. There's a whole team that comes
to the neighbourhood for that process.

When the mole was out last summer, I might have seen five properties
receiving fiber. But the people did not strike me as "gigabit" people.
The guy across the street from me, is never home, and he would not
be a candidate for a $200 per month plan. And that leaves "plan conversion"
as the only reason for the mole work. His plan might change from "capped"
to "unlimited", all without lifting a finger.

True, but we're talking about home broadband.

I pay £6 pm for 5GB and unlimited everything else. Unused data is rolled
over for one month. I rarely use anywhere near 5GB so most months I have
10GB available.

This is on a 30-day rolling contract.

Oh and I get free international roaming in 50 countries.

Yes. Depends on your contract. And also on the technology: on another
place I have a router working on 4G with an internal SIM card: the cheap
contract I have for it is capped, but the unused portion of a month is
carried to the next.

*You own the intelligence of a worm.*

There were death threats, which were reported to the FBI made by "Rod
Speed" (& by nospam) but mostly by Rod Speed who actually included his real
personal email address asking people to perform the task of murdering me.

The FBI said they'd investigate and I said I'd be changing the nym.
My credibility is my most important personal assess so read this please:

In summary, all you trolls own the intelligence of a very stupid person.
Carlos, Ken Blake, nospam, Jolly Roger, sms, Zag, Chris, Jeorg, et al.

You trolls know nothing.
And yet you're oh so confident that you know everything.

None of you trolls own an IQ that isn't substandard.
It's why you can only troll.

Stop it nospam.
Death threats are a serious thing, your childish trolls notwithstanding.

People like Ken Blake are too stupid to understand any adult concept,
but I expect you to own up to your own words, nospam. You wrote them.

Don't deny your own words, nospam.
Only a fool (or a liar) denies a fact which is inherently easily proven.

Read your own post on 07/31/2021, nospam.
<https://groups.google.com/g/misc.phone.mobile.iphone/c/8ae5w37EK9k/m/nclaqyUJAgAJ>

You said, and I quote, that my death "can be arranged" by you.

However...
Your death threat wasn't anywhere near as overt as that of Rod Speed.
*You buggers are very quiet.*
<https://groups.google.com/g/alt.home.repair/c/5ridvlPuAGU>
"I'll organise a death squad if you like, the email is real,
its not munged either."

I take all death threats seriously, nospam.
Especially from people who are clearly deranged, as Rod Speed must be.

And I report all these death threats to the FBI.

It's a simple phone call to report these threats to the FBI.
And if you think I didn't report them, then you'd be mistaken, nospam.

I have no idea if the FBI contacted their counterparts in NZ where Rod
Speed claims to live; but rest assured, I reported it the moment I saw it.

I take all death threats seriously, nospam.
Even from you.

that is also not a death threat, especially since it leaves the
decision up to you.

What I find revealing is how _afraid_ the iKooks are of facts.

Since they're iKooks, they also hate the _bearer_ of those facts.

The reason is instructive:
a. The iKook belief system is almost completely imaginary
b. Facts are a _danger_ to any imaginary belief system

The iKooks are like a fifth-grade held-back oversized bully who has just
been told by the other fifth graders that Santa Claus is not real.

This iKook can't believe Santa is an (admittedly clever) MARKETING gimmick.

Kid: Santa isn't real.
iKook: Yes he is. I saw him at the mall.

Kid: No silly, that's just a person dressed up in a Santa outfit.
iKook: False.

Kid: There's no way he flies & visits every chimney in one evening.
iKook: Wrong.

Kid: Seriously? You really _believe_ these mere MARKETING gimmicks?
iKook: Look stupid. I told you Santa is real. I saw him. So fuck off.

The point of that analogy is that iKooks hold dear imaginary beliefs.
And imaginary beliefs are based on absolutely zero actual facts.

So even a _single_ fact is dangerous to these iKooks.
Worse, is the _bearer_ of those facts.

Because without the bearer of facts, the iKooks can remain ignorant.
Which is exactly how they prefer to be.

Ignorant.
Literally, as a result - they're ignorant of all things Apple.

That's an iKook for you.
