If you have to fart at night, no need to get out of bed and fart
somewhere else. Just let it go in bed then wave the covers
a bit to air them out....or not.

Even after marriage when Mia liked to sleep next to me under the
covers, I would get up for that reason. Polite even to a ferret.

I've suggested before to save the mean posts as "drafts" then read them
the next morning before deciding to send them.

Alternatively, she could always post here nicely as "Jill," and pick an
alternative identity for the mean posts. Many other regulars here do that.

Same with John. Post nicely as "John" and use an alt identity to post
all his creepy things.

i wish my wife knew about that when we were courting. she told me hers
didn't stink and ripped one off in bed. i pulled the covers over my head
like i had something to prove and came out gaging. i'm not proud of this
or anything, but since then i can pick up her scent out of the air when
she farts in public. she can't deny it when caught, i know better. :D

bought that set from from a store similar to Bed, Bath & Beyond
(possibly Linens & Things) in Memphis long time ago. It's a set of bean
pots/soup bowls (each bowl has a lid) and it came with a covered soup
tureen. The individual bowls and the soup tureen have removeable wicker
bases with handles so you don't have to use potholders. They're cute.
I debated leaving the wicker base in the photo but didn't. Here's what
