Beer is not "Liquor". Liquor is 72+alcohol or greater and
contains a very small subset of "Hard liquers" - think Captain
Morgans and Southern Comfort. Then you have Liquers (71-15%. Then
comes fortified/dessert wines (21-15%), Wine <yawn>, then beer
(must be made by Trappist monks (INSHO). Then milk and water.

I bought some Rock % Rye in a can last week. I think it was 5.5oz
for $5? It sucked. Nothing like I remembered Jauquins (sp?) when
I was 5-12 years ol - with all the rotten fruit inside.

Really? Tiny little 1.7oz cans, eh? I've got a collection of
every one that's EVER been made - all full and in mint condition!

Even if those were glass rather than plastic these days, an
average 3 hour flight would have about 16-20 pounds weight in
liquor bottles. To put that into "perspective", there's 3X more
weight just in urine in the bladders of those 100 passengers.

Not to mention that the same airplanes have 18% more seats than
they did 20 years ago. Each of those adds an average 165lbs of
pure meat.

Have you *ever* flown in a plane or did you just stalk people to
death in rec.air.travel?
