The mini loaves were made today, and I not quite doubled my recipe as
I had 6 or 7 bananas to go into the batter. The end result was 18 mini
loaves and they'll be shared with two neighbors. No fancy, prize winning
decorating such as Thomas exhibited, tasty just the same.

Sorry, no photos unless you want to see the photo I posted months ago
as banana bread always looks the same once baked! Yes, I used Bakers
Joy again to coat the same pan.

Nice looking mini-loaves! You're right, banana bread always looks the
same, no need for a new pic unless you did something dramatically
different. You didn't. :)

Dang. After decades of thinking about making banana bread but not
bothering and having such positive results I want to make more. I need
three or more ripe bananas. I have two. I hate the idea of having to buy
over ripe bananas, and there is no point in buying nice bananas and
letting them over ripen to have enough for a batch because these guys
will be will be absolutely rotten. I suppose I could hope to find some
in the slashed prices for quick clearance bin.

Here's the thing with my bananas. I don't know why. I buy them totally yellow with a bit of brown and keep them in the plastic grocery bag thinking I will keep the fruit flies away. They are fall-apart when peeled and dark spots inside with mostly yellow skins. I'll take a pic of what I bought last week... maybe I should wait a month?

Bought a week ago. Will wait another week but they are soft.
The peppers in the pic are my final ones from my grow bags. I had a few nice ones and the tomatoes too but a very small amount. 5 large nice peppers and maybe 10 small. 4 plants for the peppers. Oh well. It cost me about a billion bucks to grow.

My comment on Sally's baking addiction.
THOMAS says:

August 4, 2023

Fantastic. My first try at any muffin.
I started baking when Covid landed and I search for recipes by Sally. No need to look further.
I was planning on the banana bread but my wife ate a banana lol.
Thanks for steering me in the right direction with baking.

Doesn't RCMP Officer Dave have to "conserve" every drop of his urine to save for
when he pisses into Princess Jill's mouth...???

Thank you, thank you. Compliments always appreciated! Who'd ever thought

You're making me hungry just thinking about it!

But if at home you can add bacon and maybe maple syrop.

I just got some Costco pre-cooked bacon, but not maple flavoured.

Instead, just keep a bottle of maple syrop in the other hand.
It ends up being a lot less mess that way.

The idea of adding bacon to something milkshaky is repulsive.
