Yeah, I heard the <yawns>.

I'm pretty sure I've said before my last meal would be either
Vietnamese grilled pork with nuoc cham, or grilled beef with
pineapple, ginger, chile, and rotten fish mam nem. Fortunately I
subliminally started making the meal a few days ago by marinating
the beef and making the do chua.

For the Betterment of Mankind. I took place in a
moderately=publicized Covid vaccine trial(*) yesterday and I think
I "passed" - Fever of 100.7 when it was 97.5F yesterday same time
and massive headache and muscle aches this morning when I woke up.
I rated my health at 12% and filled out an incriminating daily
dairy, and nobody has yet to call me.

So it's Vietnamese grilled beef with banh hoi noodles and mam nem.
A liter of Kentucky Gentleman. And HEB will be delivering me 16
Tylenol #4's from my prescription stash (and other assorted non
relevant drugs) before 10:PM. Which all should appease me for
maybe 12-18 hours or so.

What are the chances of getting Covid or the flu within 24 hours
of participating in a Covid/Flu vaccine trial when you haven't had
so much as a 24-hour cold for the last 30+ years? Lets see... 30
times X 365.25... Oh, fuggit - The odds are: My ASSSSSS! (my last
testament).

And have no doubt that if you mock me, I will die just to spite
y'all. Right, Gary?

-sw

(*) Which I'm not allowed to discuss on social media, but they
didn'tmention Usenet. And you know the old mantra: "Nobody EVER
reads Usenet!".

Michael, the "process" has been going on *almost* as long as you've been *alive*, lol...

We should call Steve "Camille", who famously gabbed as she lay on her death bed...

Notes from the 1936 movie, Garbo played Camille:

en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camille_(1936_film

"The famous death scene we see is not the original version from the first version of the film. In the original version, Camille died on the bed, had more words to say, and folded her hands before she died. This original death scene is lost. Director Cukor thought that it did not really feel very natural talking that much when you are about to die; so, Garbo's last scene was rewritten and reshot three times. In the first and second alternative endings, Camille was on the deathbed and said fewer words, but they still were not satisfied. They thought it seemed unreal for a dying woman to talk so much. In the third alternative ending, Camille was even quieter, and just slowly slipped away in Armand's arms..."

"Camille is a 1936 American romantic drama film from Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer directed by George Cukor, and produced by Irving Thalberg and Bernard H. Hyman, from a screenplay by James Hilton, Zoë Akins, and Frances Marion. The picture is based on the 1848 novel and 1852 play La dame aux camélias by Alexandre Dumas, fils. The film stars Greta Garbo, Robert Taylor, Lionel Barrymore, Elizabeth Allan, Jessie Ralph, Henry Daniell, and Laura Hope Crews. It grossed $2,842,000..."

Lol...

That's just your body reacting to the vaccine (your body sees it as invaders)
and is reacting to it. That's actually a good sign, a sign that your immune
system is working and is mounting a defense against that invader.

Steve just needs a hug, Joan...

But because of his "masculinity" he is too embarrassed to ask for such...

LOL Sqwertz always thinks that he's dying. He's a hypochondriac,
scared little kid. Besides, I'd be a hypochondriac too if I ate what
he eats.

covid has been going around a lot, and you may have
picked up from something before yesterday.

the chances are 100% if you got it.

we've both avoided obvious previous covid infections
but i've never been tested and Mom has been tested once
and it was negative.

we've both been sneezing the past few days, could be
some bug going around or covid. i've had a slight
headache today, could be caffiene withdrawal or bug or
sinuses being dried out. this time of the year is
usually a bit messy anyways.

good luck. :)

Can you refresh my memory when the last time I was dying or on my
death bed?

Yeah, I didn't think so.

Mentioning that I'm going under the knife and if you don't hear
from me... is not dying (and that was only once itself).

If you're not physically changing my text in quoted posts, you're
implying I've made posts that don't exist. That's the forth time
you've done the later.

You're a different kind of mental defective the like likes of

stupid and chickenshit, so if this is leading somewhere you need
to step it up a a bit.

I had my flu shot on Friday and am going for my 6th Covid19 shot this
morning. I don't recall ever feeling ill after a shot. Well hold it...
that's not entirely true. I once felt nauseous for a several days after
a flu shot, feeling like I needed to vomit but could not. The same thing
happened again about a year later and turned out to be a gall bladder
attack.

The worst after effect from a shot was the pain after my first Shindrig
shot. It lasted for almost a month and I was not looking forward to the
second shot. Curiously, the second one was not at all painful.

Neither have I, until last year's, when they were
administered on the same day, opposite arms. My husband,
same shots on same day, had no side effects at all. I felt
very unwell for 48 hours.

This year I've arranged to have them separately; flu
shot done three weeks ago, covid this week.

I had covid in September so I will get that booster after xmas.
I got the flu and RSV shots together and the following day I was
unusually tired. The pharmacist warned me that that might happen.

My wife took some boneless skinless chicken thighs out of the freezer
this morning and wanted me to make Panang curry. Not sick of it yet. It
sure was good.

Monday here was simple. I took my last individually frozen pound of
chicken wings out of the freezer, from when I bought them at 99 cents/lb
at the local butcher -- my kind of price. I took a baking sheet that
bacon was made up on earlier in the day into the oven, and roasted the
wings with the left over bacon drippings, simply adding franks red hot
toward the end. Not as good as deep fried, but they came out relatively
crisp.

Sometimes you're a very bad judge of character (Greg, Bryan) but
sometimes you're a good one (the Sqwertz child).
