Sometimes that backfires. We had had Progressive Conservatives
provincial governments here in Ontario for decades, and they did a
pretty good job. Then they took a hard turn to the right and became more
conservative than progressive. That created an opportunity for the
Liberals to win an election and their government was a disaster. A lot
of people used the protest votes, vote against the PCs and the Liberals.
We found ourselves with an NDP government. That was 30 years ago and
they left such a bad taste in people's mouths that I don't see them
getting another shot at it.

Some people change news servers when such a hiccup occurs. Until a
similar hiccup occurs at their new news server.
