Dear a.l.asm,

I bought recently the IBM PC Assembly Language and Programming by Peter Abel (fifth edition) and am working my way through it.

Is there an errata for this book online?  Do you know of a better book? My goal is to learn 16bit assembly and DOS specifically, so this book seems ideal at first glance.

And there doesn't seem to be much info online, about 16bit nor DOS.

IIRC, I think I have this book, and have a good memory of it being worthwhile.
Given your interests, a study of early msdos sources might be helpful in your learning asm, too:
