The most likely scenario is Spain thumping Germany 6-0 ;-) just like how they did in the UEFA nations league

The same clowns from that 2020 Germany -Spain game are playing for Germany. Gnabry, Sane, Gundogan, Goretzka, Sule and Ginter all played that game... and most likely Schlotterbeck is gonna be replaced by Ginter tomorrow.

Game seemed to be headed for a draw until Fuller’s brilliant curling shot bested Gonda (he was able to palm it but only into the net).

With Spain to come this might be a massive missed opportunity for Japan.

If Spain beat CR 7-0 and Japan beat Germany 2-1 and now CR beat Japan 1-0 that means Spain should beat Germany 14-0.

Belgium's golden generation seems to be going out with a whimper. Only true WC players remaining are KDB and Courtois. The defenders are dinosaurs and the rest are mostly washed out.

it is looking like Kanada missed a good chance for points vs Belgium. Morocco deservedly leading.

I've calculated defeat vs them and everything is complicated now.
Morocco did themselves a favor with the 2nd goal, it's gonna be hard to
first qualify and then avoid Spain.

To begin with: Belgium looked awful but they are still second in the
group with 3 points as we await the Croatia-Canada game. They could
certainly beat Croatia.

More generally: in Group F Belgium and Croatia have all the reputation
and probably more skill, but Morocco and Canada are both bigger,
stronger, and faster. I won't be surprised if Canada beats Croatia at
all.

p.s.--somebody just said that Japan blew their best chance to reach
the round of 16. They have reached that round at least twice--in 2002
as hosts when Turkey beat them 1-0 and in 2018 when Belgium beat them
3-2 in one of the most exciting matches I have ever seen.

They did make it to the R16 in the previous WC, and were in fact leading 2-0 over Belgium deep in the second half.
They also qualified in 2002, when they were hosting.

Canada with a high intensity start to the game took and early lead but Croatia showed patience in their build up game and their quality and so far it's worked for them. 2-1 Croatia HT.

Just to be clear if Croatia win this Canada are out.

So Croatia came to life and played great. They do need a draw
with Belgium who could decide to wake up as well. If they beat
Belgium they have a chance to beat Morocco on goal difference and
avoid Spain.
This is a great WC so far. Several dramatic days to come this
week.
