SOthe West Semi Finals start today already, Edmonton v Colorado. Yesterday the Rangers won and will play Tampa bay, tomorrow in the other semi final. No rest between series or games, I guess they want this done by July 1.

The west semi should be high scoring and is so far, based upon one period, but I dont get the offside rule anymore, can you skate back out over the blue line to negate an offside now? DOnt need to touch the puck for icing either.

Well Albertans, you can still marry any cousin or sister of your choice, you can still frack away to pull out as much tar oil as you like and make a pretty profit, but your ice hockey team is on the verge of collapse and you will not be playing in the Stanley Cup finals.
In the east, I am not sure if it is surprising that the New York Rangers lead the series 2-0.

I am not sayin the Avs are coming back tonight, but the difference between icehockey and football/scoocer, is that it is 5-2 with 25 mins left, so 2.25 of a game played, yet no one would be shocked if the Colorados come back

It would be way more than 2,25, it is like more than half played! right now we are at 6,575 and at 6-2 there is no way the Colorados can come back! Can they?

OK, it is finally over, Colorado leading 2-1 with 8 minutes left. As everyone knows in ice hockey, you rarely have a team scoring with such a short time remaining, I mean it is not ice curling (as opposed to normal curling which is called shuffleboard) wher they score points all the time. So congrats Colorado on winning the stanley cup
