He created space on a 53-yard touchdown catch with 2:03 remaining in a 41-37 victory against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 11. Williams also had a game-tying 12-yard TD catch on the final play of regulation against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 18.

A three year deal makes a lot of sense for the team and Williams - for the team, the deal will end after Herbert's fifth year option, when they'll have to pay Justin the big bucks (of course, odds are that they reach an extension sometime early in his fourth year but that's also why it would make sense to frontload Mike Dub's deal). For Williams, he'll be 30 at the end of the deal and in line for one more big contract.
