Nobody with any sense wanted Marx to go down that route in the first place. Marx didn't endorse the one-party-state until long after he and Engels had written the Communist Manifesto back in 1848 - his enthusiasm for "the leading role of the party" got him slung out of the international socialist movement in 1871, on the basis that his ideas were undemocratic and would lead to tyranny, as indeed they did, and some of the side effects of that tyranny were purges and mass starvation.

More political agitation than a policy statement. This is text-chopping - using documents out of context to support an entirely specious argument.

The revolutions in Russia and China were fundamentally reactionary
movements, an attempt to return to the old ways, primarily agrarian in
nature, anti-technology, anti-academic, anti-"elite." Cambodia under Pol
Pot the same. Feudalism for the 20th century.

Marxism wasn't that, but like libertarianism is effectively a dead
ideology, though. It mostly died with Marx.

"You must therefore confess that by 'individual' you mean no other
person than the bourgeois; than the middle-class owner of property. This
person must indeed be swept out of the way, and made impossible."

OTOH it's my understanding that Marx intended the middle-class to be the
engines of the Revolution, and would've been horrified if told that a la
China it had been the peasants and soldiers. They were supposed to
transfer the means of production to the "working class" by their own
volition.

"property" in that context means real property, real estate,
land-owners. He's talking about landlords who buy up real estate and
then rent it out, still a pretty unpopular profession among the "working
class" to this day judging by posts on Reddit from renters bitching
about landlords never returning their security deposit or ever fixing
the leaky shower like they're supposed to.

An old joke about landlords - if every landlord could only select from
other landlords that met their definition of a "perfect tenant" they'd
have no customers.

Just like the timing of an ICE, he has allowed himself to be retarded
from intelligent society. Definitely left side of the bell curve
proving that one's IQ can absolutely degrade. If it was ever properly
gauged to start with.

Rod Serling turned in his grave over five years ago. He flat fucking
exploded when the dangerous, criminal buffoon got the nom, much less so
many voters who all failed to vet the poorest choice for a leader in
the history of civilian society.

The song "Take A Walk On The Wild Side" Except with dopes like
Larkin, it was "Take a dive over the left side... of the bell curve".

You are an abject idiot with zero clue how things get manufactured,
much less economized.

Abject idiot? I take it back, you are an absolute utter retard.

That happened before Taiwan and Hong Kong were handed over to them.
Back then nearly all the chip fabs and DVD pressings were done there,
and China did not have any part of it, so there was no business to
sanction against except for cheap chinese knock offs of cheap hand
tools. But AFTER the hand over, how do you think the world would
simply "pull up roots" and start those HUGE fab facilities elsewhere?
Let alone have the result be cheaper. Your non-existent 12 generatio
phone would not even exist, and the shit version that would would
cost you $5000 and $150 a month to use.

The idiots too stupid to do anything but piss and moan about a
"problem" yet offer no solution that would be doable.

He made some words to that effect during his campaign but they were
"qualified promises", he never promised to cancel the debt in its entirety:

But the retarded police manage to do so much damage just fine without it:

Wonder how much that stunt will cost local taxpayers when it's all said

Biden's poll numbers are still pretty high, by not doing much he's
likely intending to keep them there.

Americans finally prefer a president that sleeps on the job than one
that's up at 2 AM still tweeting away like a meth fiend, if offered the
choice.

For everything Trump said about dismantling the "Deep State", nearly
everything he did gave it more power. Biden is the suit brought in to
solidify the gains.

If Trumpism was a cut-throat semiconductor startup, Biden is it getting
bought out by NXP "we will add this to our portfolio."

What was Mao's slogan in the first few years?
agriculture is the base, industry is the leading factor.
What is happening in China is according to, not opposed to Mao's vision.

Socialism has advanced China from a country as backward as e.g. India
or Bangladesh to a modern very technologic, hardly agrarian society.
You cannot call China anti-accademic as opposed to the USA with
any credibility.

Pol Pot was an example of how one delusional person can throw an
entire country in disarray, given the right circumstances.
There are more recent examples of that.

To give credit to MSM where it's due, Fox News Australia has been
keeping a cache of video clips of Usurper Joe's various
dementia-related pronouncements - and it's ALREADY a worryingly long
list leaving no doubt as to the man's mental enfeeblement. Step

I don't buy the deliberate release theory, though. I can't see why
they would want the world to know they were developing bio-weapons and
certainly not at least until they've perfected them. More likely just
a moment's carelessness on the part of some lab technician who's no
doubt no longer in this world.

Any rational estimation of the probabilities would make natural evolution much the most likely source of Covid-19, and while it is conceivable that it might have been created in a lab, the probability that it inadvertently escaped is very low indeed - labs really can't afford to have viruses escaping into adjacent parts of the same lab, because it wrecks the experiments, and they are even more careful about messing up the outside world.

China is successful in spite of socialism, not because of. They had to make compromise after the 1989 Tiananmen Square massacre.

Indeed. It's worth remembering:
The free market puts goods on the shelves and piles food on the market
stalls.
Central planners create only queues and shortages.

started building fab facilities in Taiwan as well, so it was a
secondary effect.

on.
