Well it may be unfair to equate the actions of all Republicans with what
Tom, Donald Trump, Kevin McCarthy, etc.. I know several Republicans that
are good people.

It's more cost effective to provide medical care to everyone, whether
"free" or "paid-for," than the alternative.

Agreed, albeit with my usual observation that Normal Curves apply. So do
different versions of "good."

Locally, the Republican I admired most and worked with the most was a
very fine person indeed, an important administrator in our town until
she moved on. (Her good work came up in a conversation with another
resident earlier today.)

Interestingly, I later learned she changed parties.

Pfff. Get out of your echo chamber. https://www.freep.com/story/news/politics/2021/05/18/michigan-judge-antrim-county-election-lawsuit/4980333001/ https://www.politifact.com/factchecks/2021/apr/16/douglas-frank/no-evidence-michigan-used-algorithm-manipulate-ele/

Do you not believe the Republican state legislators who actually conducted an investigation? At what point will facts matter to you?

In California exactly the opposite has been happening. Everyone is changing over not "officially" to the Republican party but voting largely for Republican candidates. In the last election a week ago, there were a dozen Democrat Party candidates for County supervisor and one Republican got 10% of the vote despite only 15% of the electorate voting because they simply do not trust out elections any longer. This is what the Scharf's of this state caused and revel in it.

Tom, congratulations on another perfect example of your logical weaknesses!

You post a link to a rant from an unqualified, backwater right wing
website with a typical "Huge News!" headline designed to suck you in.

Jay posts links to well-recognized, legitimate news outlets describing
what the courts, including Republican judges, have actually determined.
Those more accurately describe the "Huge News" as "No news at all."

And you respond with yet another insult.

Your mind is operating on the level of a 12-year-old, but with a much
worse memory.

Touche. That improvised headlight worked well for me to ride back to
my former office at night and to irritate the purists on R.B.T. My
current bicycle lights are somewhat of an improvement.

It would probably be a beach of etiquette to mention that it was you
who directed me to R.B.T., but I'll do it anyway. R.B.T is often
rather entertaining, but lately not very enlightening.

Drivel: I was in Santa Cruz Tuesday doing some network wiring for a
customer. (I hate running wires). I finished early so I walked to
the nearby SCZ Wharf. "Bicycles not allowed" hieroglyphics painted on
the walkways. Bicycle racks in front of all the stores and
restaurants. I was wondering about the ratio of eBikes and
conventional bicycles. I lost count, but my guess was out of about 60
bicycles, I only counted two conventional bicycles. All the rental
bicycles were eBikes. I'll do a better count the next time I mingle
with the tourists.

Beyond the media reports, Republican senators less than three weeks ago issued a full report (with exhibits) debunking the latest My Pillow-guy driven misinformation campaign. https://misenategopcdn.s3.us-east-1.amazonaws.com/99/doccuments/20210623/SMPO_2020ElectionReport.pdf

Before that, the Michigan Secretary of State issued an audit of more than 200 precincts. https://www.michigan.gov/documents/sos/BOE_2020_Post_Election_Audit_Report_04_21_21_723005_7.pdf

Nonetheless, cultists are satisfied with "I heard a guy who said this thing about this other guy who cheated and sent in his dead mother's ballot," or "Italian satellites are hacking into the Dominion machines and changing the results." Jewish space lasers. Sasquatch! What a bunch of rubes. Imagine if those people lived their daily lives with the same faith-based approach to the truth -- like believing the "E" on the gas tank really meant "excellent" or that having really high blood pressure was good. On June 20th We rode from near Natural Bridges <sic> down to Wilder
Ranch, and then along the coast to the north end where there's the
underpass under CA 1. Not too many eBikes up there, but a lot on West
Cliff Drive. They've added quite a bit of bike infrastructure on the
north end of Santa Cruz, and the Coastal Rail Trail looks like it'll be
really nice.

I was down on Felker Street and thought of you. I had one bicycle come
loose on my rack and someone honked at me and I got off of 1 on Ocean
Street, sketchy area.

It's not funny. Low-information individuals like Tom may not be that
common in California, but there's a lot of them in other states. Alabama
had only a 33% vaccination rate, and a lot of red states don't do much
better.

In the last election a week ago, there were a dozen Democrat Party candidates for County supervisor and one Republican got 10% of the vote despite only 15% of the electorate voting because they simply do not trust out elections any longer. This is what the Scharf's of this state caused and revel in it.

As always, no links to the sources of your information and you left
out important specifics such as which county supervisor. Keep up the
mediocrity so I can more easily prove that you're wrong.

San Leandro would be Alameda County, California.
<https://www.acgov.org/rovresults/241/indexA.htm>
Contest Votes Percentage
David Gregory Haubert 70,940 54.12 %
Vinnie Bacon 59,711 45.55 %
Write-in 435 0.33 %
Total Supervisor Vote 131,086

Total Ballots Cast 785,215 81.28 %

The winner (Haubert) received out of 785,215 votes only 70,940 votes
or 9% of the total vote. However, that's for only one out of two
supervisor candidates. If I use the total number of people who voted
for *ANY* supervisor candidate, I get 16.7% voted for any supervisor
candidate. See the problem yet?

9% or 16.7% sound like horrible, right? Well, no. It seems that
Alameda County has 5 supervisory districts
<https://www.acgov.org/board/documents/districtmap.pdf>
and only one district was on the Nov 2020 ballot. A 1/5th (20%) vote
for approximately 1 out of 5 districts might be a reasonable number
perhaps? If all 5 district supervisors were on the ballot, the total
voter turnout would be on par with the highest state turnout since
1953:
<https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2020-12-11/record-turnout-california-november-2020-election>

In the future, assuming you have a future, please make an effort to do
a sanity check on your claims, assertions, assumptions, crystal ball
gazing and arithmetic before postings. Extra credit for providing
your sources so I don't have to waste as much time demonstrating that
you have a problem with statistics.

So 66.000 illegal ballots discovered in Michigan alone is a rumor is it? I personally SAW you fucking Democrats drive and entire bus .load of illegal aliens into my local poll and each one of them had a sheet of paper with the name of someone that either died or moved of of the area to vote under. Most of them couldn't speak any English and the majority of them were illiterate so that they couldn't even read the directions on how to vote. So the translators had to do into the booth with them to show them HOW to vote. All they were told to do was to vote for Obama. We discovered a way to end that was to place the polling place in the police service yard and suddenly half of the normal voters disappeared. In the last election they moved the polling place to 4 miles away from my house instead of the 3 blocks. After I filled out the ballot, instead of putting it through the counting machine, they put is in a suitcase with a slot in the top so that they could go through them and throw out all of the Republicans voters.

Tell me, what part of this is a RUMOR you fucking thief? You better prey that I'm not introduced to the real Scharf because your medical insurance will be strongly tried. The ONLY world of you leftists is a world of lies and you are all going to pay for it in the end.

We are all so impressed that you think that 15% of the voters who would go out and vote because everyone knows that you and your sort intend to fake the election anyway. As for your citations - Google moves any conservative citations so far down the list that you never find them. I already talked about Fauci bragging the he made $9 million off of his pharmaceutical investments. TRY and find that story. Why is Fauci demanding that everyone get vaccinated? Because the more money the pharmaceutical companies make the more he makes.

I showed you ABSOLUTE PROOF that no excess numbers of people died from covid so tell me you stinking pile of horseshit - why no comments about that? Too busy blowing Scharf? 600,000 additional deaths would have been a 21% increase in bodies necessary to bury. Oh, wait, you don't know how to look that up. It is far too complicated for your tiny mind. Read the top line of this you piece of shit: https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/fastats/deaths.htm

Are you familiar enough with grade school arithmetic to discover what increase 600,000 claimed covid deaths would be? https://www.statista.com/statistics/883227/revenue-of-funeral-homes-in-the-us/

Tell me you human garbage pit - where are the extra deaths? I realize that accepting the truth is entirely out of your league but you and Scharf and Frank and Jay have made yourselves targets and the worm is about to turn. You and the small percentage of this country like you that are standing in line to falsify an election are all going to pay for your crimes.

Actually I'm not thrilled with a lot of the Democratic legislators. I
talked to one San Francisco Supervisor in 2018 who referred to some of
them as "Real Estate Republicans" since they take a lot of money from
developers, real estate investors, speculators, and other special
interests that not only benefit from the legislation that they
introduce, but often actually write it, see
<https://www.housinghumanright.org/selling-out-california-scott-wiener-money-ties-to-big-real-estate/>.

The problem is that the Republican party in California has been taken
over by the same kind of far-right wing lunatics that the National
Republican party has been cursed with. Devin Nunes, Kevin McCarthy,
Darrell Issa, Travis Allen, John Cox, etc..

The chance for a Republican to win statewide office is low because in
the primary the far-right Republicans will choose someone that can't
appeal to moderate Republicans, moderate Democrats, who are necessary to
win.

We used to have sane Republicans in California, Pete Wilson, George
Deukmejian, even Arnold Schwarzenegger, were not crazy. Now even Orange
County is turning Democratic. There are still some good Republicans
serving as mayors (or former mayors) in some smaller cities; John
Mirisch in Beverly Hills
<https://therealdeal.com/la/issues_articles/sacramentos-worst-nightmare/> and
Peggy Huang mayor of Yorba Linda. But these are old-school Republicans
that believe in the precepts of the Republican party.

The whole crazy recall of Newsom was orchestrated by these lunatic
Republicans. Since you only need the most votes to win (if Newsom is
recalled), rather than a majority to win in a regular election, a recall
is the only hope for Republicans.

Wow! Good work, Tom, instantaneously checking each one of those sheets
of paper and correlating it with the list of dead or absent voters! Most
people couldn't have pulled that off with the use of a supercomputer.
But I bet you did it with a four-bit processor, right?

> After I filled out the ballot, instead of putting it through the counting machine, they put is in a suitcase with a slot in the top so that they could go through them and throw out all of the Republicans voters.

That's just amazing - and amazing that only you were perceptive enough
to realize that terrible scam. I'll bet you immediately phoned every
relevant agency up to the United Nations and let them know what you
found, right?

But gosh, why did nobody - including the many Republican legislators in
California - do nothing about it? Why didn't this travesty make Fox
News? Could it be they didn't believe you? Why would _that_ be?

> Tell me, what part of this is a RUMOR you fucking thief?

I don't think any of it qualifies as rumor until more than three people
believe it and pass it on. Since it's all in your imagination, it's got
a long way to go. https://tinyurl.com/p745u8

If for no other reason then when the Thai Hospital Group... or
whatever they are called, go to a medicine manufacturer and say,
"Would you care to bid on a contract to provide 100,000,000,000

ignored.

>We are all so impressed that you think that 15% of the voters who would go out and vote because everyone knows that you and your sort intend to fake the election anyway.

Who is "we"? Does anyone in R.B.T. agree with your county election
arithmetic and logic?
[rest of the off-topic incoherent rant deleted and ignored]

Is there some reason you believe that anyone would want to fake the
election for a non-partisan Alameda Country supervisor position? Is
there any reason that you think Fauci is somehow involved in the
election of this supervisor position? Is there some reason you
believe that I'm involved in the same plot? Anyway, I've made my
point. The percentages you cut-n-pasted out of some article that you
apparently failed to understand are actually quite reasonable once you
wake up and realize that there are five supervisory districts in
Alameda county and the numbers you cited only represent the 1st
district. They also do not represent a wholesale boycott of the
election by Alameda County 1st supervisory district voters.

Ok. You've received your minimum recommended daily allowance of abuse
from me. If you don't read any more from me in R.B.T. this week, it's
because I'm bored keeping you entertained. Finding your mistakes is
not much of a challenge. However, if I feel the need to unload my
frustrations on a willing masochist, you might receive some additional
attention from me. I'm sure you will enjoy it.

Ok, you got me there. I looked at Google maps between the west side
of Santa Cruz and Ano Nuevo and didn't find an underpass under Hwy 1.
How about a clue? It's only been 25 years or so since I've ridden on
Hwy 1. Hopefully, you're not thinking of the abandoned tunnel under
Hwy 1 from the Davenport pier?

West Cliff Dr is a zoo on weekends. A 3 to 6 ft wide multiuse path
with electric skateboards and bicycles monopolizing the path. The
gawking car drivers complain that people are walking in the road.

Yep. I tried the city to approve rail bikes, but it was turned down
for reasons unknown:

Yep. I moved out of my formerly palatial office in late Oct 2020. The
problem wasn't lack of business, the pandemic, CZU fire, or
evacuation. It was that the area had turned into a large homeless
encampment. A day didn't go by without having at least one "incident"
involving a homeless person. When it became bad enough that I
couldn't get customers to come to my office to pickup or drop off
their machines, I decided it was time to leave. It took about 2
months to move 30 years of accumulated junk, but I survived. I'm
currently trying to run the business out of my house, which is not
working very well. If you had visited in June, the office would have
been presentable. After about August, it was a giant mess.

2501 days or two months less than 7 years:

Last job ended in Sept 2014. It probably seemed like 10 years because
time goes much slower without Rush Limbaugh.

Actually I don't believe I ever heard of the guy and had to look him
up on the Internet. According to the Wikki he apparently was in
McKeesport, Pennsylvania when I left the States for what turned out to
be the last time.
