Tom, I want to live so I stay alive. Yes Sweden is free. And so am I. And most likely everyone else participating in this forum. Most of us lived through some restrictions over the past year and a half. But we are all still alive. And I didn't find any of the restrictions all that cumbersome. I had to wear a mask!!!!!!!!!!! Terrible. I had to stand about 6 feet away from people when waiting in lines at stores!!!!!!!!! Terrible. Some Church services and other meetings were canceled. I doubt that killed anyone.. Many people lost their jobs. That was bad. But worst of all were the 600,000 plus who died in the USA. From the Covid virus killing them. That was terrible. Millions have died around the world.

The article I linked to showed Sweden had a much higher rate of death due to Covid than its neighbor countries. So maybe Sweden made the wrong choice if your goal is to stay alive. Because no matter what anyone says, no freedom or rights or privileges are worth dying for because you are dead and can't use those rights and freedoms and privileges. Dead is dead. You're not alive if you are dead. Kind of like suicide or Russian roulette. No good reason for it. Keep in mind I am not saying there are not things worth dying for. Such as helping others. There is a reason for it to help others. Or yourself. But dying from Covid does not make sense if you can avoid dying. How is dying from Covid helping anything?

When the CDC themselves say that wearing masks, social distancing and frequent hand washing has no effect explain why you believe whole-heartedly that it does? So, I just have a hard time with morons that know not one word about what they speak. That was the number of deaths. Without knowing the population and the age profiles it means absolutely nothing. Almost all of the Italian deaths were in nursing homes in a region with the highest rates of old age. So WHAT WAS SWEDEN? And since the populations of Norway and Finland are near identical why was there such a large difference in the number of deaths? No one has dropped dead, but they have had unusual symptoms in a very small select group AFTER being vaccinated. Can I expect people dying in my age group?
