NEW YORK, NY - In an inspiring story from the world of professional
cycling, a motorcyclist who identifies as a bicyclist has crushed all
the regular bicyclists, setting an unbelievable world record.

In a local qualifying race for the World Road Cycling League, the
motorcyclist crushed the previous 100-mile record of 3 hours, 13
minutes with his amazing new score of well under an hour.

Professional motorcycle racer Judd E. Banner, the brave trans-vehicle
rider, was allowed to race after he told league organizers he's always
felt like a bicyclist in a motorcyclist's body.

"Look, my ride has handlebars, two wheels, and a seat," he told
reporters as he accepted a trophy for his incredible time trial. "Just
because I've got a little extra hardware, such as an 1170-cc flat-twin
engine with 110 horsepower, doesn't mean I have any kind of inherent
advantage here."

Banner also said he painted the word "HUFFY" on the side of his bike,
ensuring he has no advantage over the bikes that came out of the
factory as bicycles.

Some critics say he needs to cut off his motor in order to make the
competition fairer, but he quickly called these people bigots, and
they were immediately banned from professional cycle racing.

Got this now? Riding a motorcycle a man beats a bicycle record. Is this the same as saying you're a man in a woman's body?

I don't know, this is California and they claim that ANYONE can give birth to a child. That's why they want to legalize abortions for men.

I'm guessing at least one of the respondents to this discussion isn't aware of the mission of The Babylon Bee (I'll give you three tries as to who - the first two don't count). Consider their Amicus Brief to SCOTUS in the case of Novack v City of Parma ET Al.

https://www.supremecourt.gov/DocketPDF/22/22-293/244213/20221028092221628_Babylon%20Bee%20-%20Amicus%20Brief.pdf

"The Bee is quite possibly the most popular source for satire in the history of the world. The Bee has inspired many imitators, including our fellow amicus curiae in this case, a cute little upstart known as The Onion"

"The writers at The Bee are a hearty bunch, accustomed to regularly and brilliantly absorbing blows from powerful, prestigious media outlets—and also from CNN—that desperately want to muzzle The Bee. Child’s play. But whining establishment types who are unable to take a joke and who possess the coercive power of the state are an entirely different matter. Add to that mix the aggressive, unbridled strain of qualified immunity propagated by the Sixth Circuit. It’s enough to make Chuck Norris sweat."

I see that the Bee is back on Twitter. Free Speech fun that ruffles
the feathers of stuffy folks.

There is a reason that Flunky doesn't want his name known. His work-mates no doubt would sooner or later discover his real communist tendencies and kick the shit out of him.

His belief that outside of the workplace, private businesses should have the right to censor your speech because they don't like your politics is reason enough to put an end to his babbling. He even hides from me, a disabled old 78 year old that he fears for good reason. Were he to say things to my face that he said to my postings as you show, I would slap his face. And since some puny little sissy like him couldn't take a slap he would cry great tears all day long and cry himself to sleep at night for a month. He would try to press assault charges against me and discover that no one gave a shit about him and that would hurt worst of all. Why the only one that loves him is Frank and some other queers. I don't think that Frank is a queer but he is as good as one since he spent most of his time as a teacher telling young people that Sodom and Gamora was nothing more than a horrible Jewish myth against LGBTQ community who supported his communism for awhile.

Until a couple of years ago I would have agreed with you and
noted, "good point."

There's no longer a bright line between unconstitutional
government restriction of free speech/ association and
private acts. The 'private' entities are sometimes directly
implementing administration policy by request:

Nope, that's not true.

Or, to quote myself, 'Our nation is a republic with
individual rights. Inside these walls is a fiefdom and it's
my call.'

So you would take offense at what a buyer said about one of the bicycles you sell and ask him to leave? I sincerely doubt that and while you may set rules for foul language I doubt that you would ask possible customers to leave because of their opinions.

No kitty, it isn't. Twitter - or any private company - is under no legal obligation to afford speech protection to anyone. Section 230 of CFR 47 explicitly states:
" No provider or user of an interactive computer service shall be held liable on account of
(A) any action voluntarily taken in good faith to restrict access to or availability of material that the provider or user considers to be obscene, lewd, lascivious, filthy, excessively violent, harassing, or otherwise objectionable, whether or not such material is constitutionally protected"

Note the term "or otherwise objectionable". With regards to the relationship of the private US citizen and Twitter/Facebook/ET Al, the free speech protections of the constitution do not apply.

Sure, there are probably hundreds of cases where the gubmint has asked some private entity to censor otherwise protected speech, but they weren't under any legal obligation to do so.

But what is "free speech"? If you say, for example, that "Tom Kunich
is an ass" - which if you do a Google search will get 346,000 "hits" -
and Tom sues you for defamation he may be able to collect some of your
money..

So obviously you are not free to say anything that you want, even
though a great many people may well agree with you.

Whenever some entity becomes more free to speak, it's more free
speech.

>Or, to quote myself, 'Our nation is a republic with

No, I'm not trying to say that private entities are, or should be
subject to the 1st Amendment. I simply disaprove of news media
censoring what they report and I applaud when I see one being loosened
up. How much twitter will be loosened up is not yet clear, but so
far, it's looking good.

I'm guessing that somehow doesn't apply to kitty trike rider.

> His work-mates no doubt would sooner or later discover his real communist tendencies and kick the shit out of him.

Except that my work mates already know my name, already know where I live, already know I tend to vote overwhelmingly towards left-socialist candidates. BTW - that would be the vast majority of massachusetts voters as well as me - Check the "blue wave" we just had, shit head (remember when you said 'come november kitty and I will be sitting pretty? HAH!!!!)

> His belief that outside of the workplace, private businesses should have the right to censor your speech because they don't like your politics is reason enough to put an end to his babbling.

Except that it's the law, shit head. If my company doesn't like me discussing politics at work, they have a right to tell me to shut-up or fire me. The only "free speech" protection I have in the workplace would be with regards to union organizing. As I was once told by a lawyer for Hewlett-Packard when I was told to take down a poster in my cube denouncing the first Iraq war, "with regards to the relationship between you and hewlett packard, the first amendment to the constitution does not apply".

> He even hides from me, a disabled old 78 year old that he fears for good reason.

I'm not hiding from you. I've given information which reveals my name and address a dozen times. You're just too much of a fucking idiot tot figure it out.

> Were he to say things to my face that he said to my postings as you show, I would slap his face.

Bring it on, you little bitch. Just a word of advice - should you ever decide to pay me a visit, make sure your personal business is in order. I'd hate for your widow to be left with whatever steaming pile of shit state your personal finances are in.

> He would try to press assault charges against me and discover that no one gave a shit about him and that would hurt worst of all.

Ah, so you're under some delusion that you'd get away with slapping me because of my politics. Good luck fighting that battle in court.

> Why....(more homphobic projection snipped)

Go whine to your butt buddy andre, sparky. He's the only one here giving you any sympathy.
