That lathe has a 4C collet taper ground into the spindle, I made a 60 degree center with a 1/2 inch shank from some 1Inch stock and clamp it in a 4C collet. They make 4C Collets with centers but they are expensive.
My adapter works well.but you will need 4C collets and a collet closer.
