This thread has inspired me to create my own thread entitled: "Zod Takes the Low Road"
I have so many of his post saying "motherfucker" to fill it with!
See: https://groups.google.com/g/alt.arts.poetry.comments/search?q=motherfucker%20author%3AZod
Sorry that all I would have for material...
There's nothing to quote from Sod unfortunately,
because it's the same shit he mutters
just so he can say motherfucker.
It seems it's the only word
known to the turd.
I've heard better from 12 year olds
in the ghetto-
so his skill with words
seems pretty disturbed.

According to Piggy Ross, your actual quotes were from a "condensed version" of the book by John Crace, published by the /Guardian/ in 2009 and easily Googlable in 2014 (and today as a matter of fact).

No one's disputed the genuineness of that quote. Piggy (being a troll) of course disputed that you'd read the book, insisting that you lifted it from Crace.

> The name "Piggy John-John Ross" is not.
Which explains why ""George doesn't appear to have recognized it" as a quote": Because it wasn't a quote, but your own name-calling.

> You may recall (although, obviously, you don't) that I had been calling him "Peter John-John Ross." When you began calling him "Piggy," I changed "Peter John-John Ross" to "Piggy John-John Ross."

Which explains why ""George ... thinks I was joining him in calling people by childish, barnyard names." Because that is in fact what you were doing.

> There is no "John-John" character in either the book or the film.

Which I've already verified. But thanks for Googling.

Since I don't remember that name used in either source, and I really don't believe that anyone else does, either, I'm afraid I'm going to have to ask you for cites.

I think it's all understandable to everyone. Your claim that:
> Childish George was calling PJ Ross (and practically everyone else) barnyard names and similarly childish fare; while Michael Pendragon (MMP) was taking the high road and trying to keep things civil at AAPC.

- was revisionism, instead. In fact, you were already calling PJ Ross names; and when you discovered that I was calling PJ Ross Piggy, your response was to laugh out loud and start calling him "Piggy" too: (monkey see, monkey do).

Not that there's anything wrong with calling PJ Ross Piggy. What is wrong is your lying about it, and claiming you were "taking the high road" and "trying to keep things civil" instead. As repeatedly noted, your word cannot be trusted.

Now that you've shown that you were in fact name-calling, there may be no need to give other examples of your name-calling. But, rest assured, they're all still in the archives as needed.

Feel free to do so, rather than try to take over someone else's thread (as per the GLs you've sworn to obey).
If you're having trouble figuring out how to start a new thread, here's some easy instructions for those using Google Groups. :
1) Click the three horizontal lines on the upper left, right beside the "Groups" logo.
2) Click the "New Conversation" button.
3) Start typing!

It's that easy. Good luck, newbie.

WTF is wrong with you, George?

Since I still refer to your friends as "Donkey" and "Stink," the fact that I engage in name-calling should be self-evident.

Hey newbie, fellow lyrics lover, join the rebellion against the new cool kids and their Machiavelli, Dance, the new Queff of Nasty. He sure gets testy when someone doesn't slurp his troll threads that he mostly posts...

As the donkey brays, so it goes, so blows Big Trollin' Willy Obsesso...
Why does he obsess with blowin' so? Because that's all he knows!
Obession obsessos always say 'so it goes' while they blow the big troll dung ho!

And so it goes with such sound and furious flurry from an idiot, a poor player spamming and fending for his hour upon the stage until he is heard no more.
And so it will go until the bitter end, not with an encore but with fate's snicker at the simpering whimper...

This is their "real poetry" I suppose
to a donkey and his sock monkey, so it goes
it's just auto correct typos
you shit slinging monkeys, so slings back the donkey
a corrected record you all should know so it must go
on and on with so many nods and hellos

And alas! The ignominy of this impasse
Of someone having to act like an ass
Braying so boldly and behaving so crass
A jack ass so smug in his house of glass
And those his ass editor rate as low class
he harasses to create a hypocritical morass
a "real poetry" shitsty that shows "real class"
in shit slinging by a "victim", yet crass as ass

SO HEAR! Here comes the "real" poetry goons
And flee, flee you hopeful poetry seeking fools
It's never too soon to be free, free of these tools.
