The rumours of Chibnall and Whittaker being sacked were all over YouTube
and Radio Times had to publish and article denying it. The facts that
have since emerged prove that the rumours were fundamentally true though
not the way they were embellished by the YouTubers. Chibnall's contract
was not renewed in 2019 when it came up for renewal. The same happened
to Whittaker's. They were both to all intents and purposes given the
sack. The show was going to be cancelled after series 13 until RTD and
Bad Wolf stepped in at the last moment.

I was talking about Whittaker's last episode where she was replaced by
David Tennant. I am not saying regenerated because clothes do not
