I have _one_ USB-C device (Kindle Paperwhite).
I also have lots of micro USB stuff, and an iPhone with that lightning
connector.

Oh, and a watch that has its own special porpoise connector - anna
water-flosser with _its_ own special connector and...

Disunforgot the flap-pop charger - that's different as well.

Packing for a few weeks away means a big tangled rat's nest of cables.

"The nice thing about standards".

Odd, isn't it ? You spend zbarl on the latest new
this'll-sort-everything-out and next thing you know you're being
pressured to give up on it and start again.

I was beginning to get the hang of these 'computer' thingies, and now
people seem to expect me to have one in my pocket ? Don't they realise
how big they are ?

I also have a phone that needs its very own 3pin wallwart.

I hate the fact that 80% of the USB A plugs just don’t fit (first time). I
know it should be only 50% but I must have a bad batch or something…

That has finally been delivered with USB-C - it'll take many years

I'm sure that someone is already working on a faster and more versatile,
less convenient arrangement. I have seen rumours that some makers are
already making USB-C connections that only work one way up, using non

Why do they invariable jbex after the third inversion, though? In
theory, that puts them the same way upas they were on your first try.

They exist in a different space-time to us. That third inversion rotates
them through the fifth dimension.

Also Central Heating pumps. Often when a new system didn't work, I would
be called out to sort it. Usually it was because the CH pump was the
wrong way round. Water would still circulate, but only just.
