Hence why they're called "French tacos", not a taco. And tacos isn't a plural. And if that gets excited, you're going to lose your mind over prairie oysters, bombay duck, welsh rabbit, sweetbreads and spotted dick.

If I was to describe one, it'd be as kinda (but really not very much) like a burrito but with chips instead of rice; cheese sauce instead of sour cream; ketchup or barbecue sauce instead of salsa; all lightly toasted once wrapped. So not very much like a burrito at all, but quite magnificant nonetheless.

Anything wrapped up in something else is basically a Ginsters lawsuit waiting to happen.

So do I (under normal conditions) but I suspect Champ's comment is more
about 'work' than trains.

The article you quoted seems to disagree. But if tacos is not a plural,
what is its plural?

have you not encountered such delicacies?

I had one c2003 in the Rhne-Alpes where they originate from. Overnight
stop on the way home from Italy. Stopped in Bellegarde sur Valserine on a
Sunday and everything was closing as we tried to get something to eat.
Ended up in a kebab shop eating what I now know as a French Tacos. I think
they called it an Amricaine kebab as it had chips inside.

I don't recall it making a distinction, but if you like I have other articles:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/French_tacos
A French tacos[note 1] is a fast food dish which usually consists of a flour tortilla grilled and folded around a filling of French fries, cheese, and meat, among other deli ingredients.
[ note 1] Contrary to both Spanish and French conventions, the final S is generally present even in the singular form.

> But if tacos is not a plural, what is its plural?

It's an odd thing to get hung up about, but fine. It's not *just* the plural.

Either way, "wrong" is a bit bold when you're shunting words across language boundaries.

Actually the work bit is kind of fun. I'm sure that the novelty will
wear off, but it keeps me amused for now. It will be my last real job
though, which ever way it ends up.

The fancy new leccy trains are pretty good too, and I don't have to pay
for them as I am officially "remote".

I don't like the tube so much.

I don't care what those things we ate at the roadside in Mexico were
called - they were heaven.

I do intend to try those French things though, they sound nicer than
burritos.

Seating is maximised for capacity rather than comfort, no buffet car -
just an indifferent trolley selection.

Unfortunately, recent events have completely flattened that business
model.
