405 lines, I think that regardless of system standard, all normal
analogue colour transmissions have been on either 525 (USA, Canada and

First recorded in taxation records from c 1280. My ancestors (also
spelled Ongi or Onge) were living at Brettenham at the end of the 15th
century. The last in my direct line was a woman who married in Norwich
in 1723.

I was interested to find that, genetically, my ancestors mostly came from
Doggerland (now underwater). No filthy comments please.

I have traced my direct line back to the 1500s in Sussex. Many migrated to
Yorkshire to work in the mines, then some to Co. Durham for the mines
again. One didn't want to go down the Mine, so went to London. He was a
petty criminal and was in Pentonville when my grandmother moved to ...
Sussex! He went back to Durham and died...in prison.
