I did notice the quit to desktop menu item but thought it had always
been there. But does it save your progress in SP?

Yeah I saw that. I'd warn more for rms of if anyone else is playing
online it seems to be banning some people using that feature.
Playing offline nothing to worry about, as you aren't using the
servers anyway.

A lot of other changes as well. They fixed the darkmoon blade,
which was always a favorite for int characters in past games. I
was tempted to go back to try it out.

They also say they're close to fixing the DS3 servers.

I picked up Banished Knights Halberd + 8 and I read that it may get
someone banned playing it on-line because it is fortified so highly. I
guess people may think I was cheating?

Don't plan on playing ER on-line any way.

You know what Justisaur? I may try DS3 again soon and see if I can
map the keyboard and mouse to what I have in ER.

I bet I would do better if I can!

What I am trying to do is get the complete Banished Knight armor set
because I read it is a good set for a confessor. Not sure if my
endurance of 19 is high enough to wear it, but....

I *cannot* find the Cathedral of Dragon Communion in Caelid (which so
far isn't as scary as I thought it was).

No matter where I try to get to southern Caelid, I am surrounded by
cliffs and ocean.

I have tried 3rd church of marika, Ft Gael North, Aeonia Swamp Shore,
and a few others that I have found there. But I cannot find my way to
the area

Oh, and there is also some sort of castle with a gate with somethng to
retrieve on the other side but the gate will not open, It has an
enclosed wooden structure with no way of using it to get to the top.

And it is surrounded by a cliff, I have been around it but there is
no other way into it.

Also, I found a couple of dungeons around there. I am wondering if it
is worth the trouble to go down into them.
