Since you're the one who thinks we can "flee somewhere else", I think
it is not Klaus who is "reducing" himself to hallucinogenic drugs.

Do you put your mushrooms in a recipe or eat them raw?

I disagree with that. If you would know something about evolution you
would understand that there is never a solution for all. Those able to
adapt and think "outside box" would eventually find a way. And final
test is to pass that way without "dead weight" of those who expect
everything served to them. It is better without that baggage. In today's
world unfortunately 99,99 % of population is soon to be not needed.
"Human endeavor" you mentioned is not about building large cities with
ugly buildings and lethargic population lost in hallucinogenic dreams
or  some computer generated virtual reality. That "endeavor" is finished
when high number of humans allows "genetic hit" of "new quality humans",
and when that "new generation" counts enough units for  establishing
thriving community (IMO about 70.000 to 100.000 worldwide) it would be
time to clean the Earth from "older models".

LOl. While I am trying to stay positive and not to stray to insulting
(it is so easy to start calling names and even backup it with data), it
is true that this USENET sub-segment of civilization is also inhabited
with many not so bright specimens incapable of higher thinking. Let me
put it this way : if you have a wooden fence with a small hole and write
above that hole a word "pussy" how many of your "comrades" here would
try to use it ?

That "Klaus" is for sure a user, his way of thinking and limited
abilities to express himself show that clearly. For you, I am not sure
yet, but your writing (not just in this thread) and reactions shows that
you have a typical herd mentality. Meaning you are just a follower and
not very bright, probably with IQ not much over 80. Case closed.

Nope. I didn't say "we", I eventually implied "some of us" may have a
chance. There is a  big difference, but it seems it is out of your reach.

"Think" assume you are capable of independent thinking (having at least
an adequate brain and collected all necessary data), which is IMO here
not the case. You are just a "copycat", and not very bright one.

Actually, due to the hysteria about nuclear energy and how nuclear
weapons will "destroy the world", were someone to detonate an
"Improvised Nuclear Device" (it's called "improvised" because there is
no government contract number involved), no matter how small and no
matter if there are no casualties or property damage (I.e, Death
Valley), the resulting panic would collapse the economy with all the
adverse knock on effects: panic, social unrest, breakdown of society,
riots, anarchy, dogs and cats living together, people using the wrong
pronouns ... just horrible.

There's some truth in that - the post-nuking PANIC, even if
the nuking was relatively limited, would do MASSIVE damage
to The System and The Infrastructure on which SO many totally
depend these days. Major interruptions to food/water/energy
and large numbers would die.

A LARGER nuking - more a real WW3 - and there's no coming back.
Socioeconomic structure totally trashed, large areas dangerously
radioactive, panic, desperation, Mad Max. It all implodes.

MIGHT be some little spots that would, technically, survive.
Afghani goatherds might barely notice anything had happened.
Some of those S. Pacific islands, maybe Patagonia, the same.
WW3 might not kill *everyone* but 20,000 years of 'civilization'
WOULD die. Back to square one - with fewer resources - and in
only a few isolated places. Extinction via inbreeding would
be the likely "future".

Mr. Mare seems convinced everything would be OK for him.
He's fatally wrong - a painful rot in the fallout zones
or starvation/disease/Mad-Maxxers. Can't drink the water,
can't plant/eat crops, no help, no meds, MAYBE somebody
will find his bones in the bunker in 20,000 years ....
more likely alien archeologists wondering What The Fuck
Happened Here .......

My point is: if Mr Evil, working on his Master Degree at Evil
Engineering School, sets off a 10kt device in the middle of nowhere,
the resulting hysteria will do far more damage than if he;d set it off
in DC. Okay, it would be a wash ....

OTOH, I gamed it out some back in college. The infrastructure hit
is going to be the biggie. But nukes are not Doomsday Devices
sterilizing the entire planet.
But a lot depends on the scenario played out, the targeting, the
effectiveness. How many launchers will be ready, will work, how many
of the launched warheads will arrive where the plan designates and
will function once they get there? even if you get 90% functionality
at all levels that's still .9 * .9 * .9 * .9 = 65% "not excellent,
not terrible."

A full on nuke war between the major powers would leave the southern
hemisphere largely untouched. There are few, if any significant
targets there and Coriolis effects and wind patterns are north/south
hemisphere dependent so fallout would move very slowly south. Fallout
over the ocean would end up on the bottom and pretty much diluted to
harmlessness even to bottom dwelling organisms.

Second generation air defense seems to be shooting down as much as 95%
of Russia's missile attacks. Let's see how the Patriots do.

Western air defense may well make nuke attacks nothing more than
attempts. In any case, very few nukes are going to hit the west.
Russian air defense otoh, is shit.

The reason they shut down nuclear electric was to help create economic
failure and to keep a spreading world war from targeting the nuclear
power facilities for being targets of terror... those NATIONS that shut
down nuclear are the ones being occupied by the NEW WORLD ORDER Cabal
that wants to control all the terror so they can use it against the
planet...

That is their primary function.

The Patriot is currently the US army's chosen first line of defense
against ballistic missiles. The system was *designed* as a Hercules
replacement to hit incoming, high speed, high altitude missiles, DUH.

"The Patriot system replaced the Nike Hercules system as the U.S.
Army's primary High to Medium Air Defense (HIMAD) system and replaced
the MIM-23 Hawk system as the U.S. Army's medium tactical air defense
system. In addition to these roles, Patriot has been given the
function of the U.S. Army's anti-ballistic missile (ABM) system, which
is now Patriot's primary mission."
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MIM-104_Patriot

See also:
"The Nike Hercules, initially designated SAM-A-25 and later MIM-14,
was a surface-to-air missile (SAM) used by U.S. and NATO armed forces
for medium- and *high-altitude long-range* air defense."
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nike_Hercules

And:
"Hercules missile sites in the United States were deactivated starting
in 1974, after the signing of the Anti-Ballistic Missile [ABM] Treaty
with the U.S.S.R. Hercules missiles in Europe were replaced in the
1980s by the more mobile and accurate Patriot system."
https://www.britannica.com/technology/Nike-missile

This concession didn't matter in the long run since PATRIOT has
replaced the function of Hercules but is not covered under the ABM
treaty.

Latest PATRIOT iteration:

<https://www.defensenews.com/your-army/2016/03/15/raytheon-unveils-new-patriot-radar-at-ausa-global-16/>

More bad news for America's enemies:

satellites"
<https://www.defensenews.com/battlefield-tech/space/2023/01/06/raytheon-millennium-get-more-funding-for-missile-tracking-satellites/>

Meanwhile, Pootin' is struggling to fund Russian food stores and China
seems to think it's new line of hypersonic missiles is the shit.

The US will not be superceded in defense technology.

As a reminder, all 11 US supercarriers are nuclear. The other dozen
or so smaller carriers, the US' missile cruisers and rotary wing
capable vessels are superior to anything fielded by any other country.

Iow, attack us or our friends, then bend over and grab your ankles.

Actually it is, dummy. The PATRIOT system was designed and has become
the US' choice for abm defense. You can read the details in my

Patriot is an outdated piece of SAM. Maximum speed is merely Mach 4. It
was state of the art when it was introduced in 1976.

Do you know the definition of "hypersonic missile" is Mach 5 or above?
Russia and China have perfected their hypersonic missiles already and
the US is still in the testing stage.  Do you know Chinese and Russian
hypersonic missiles are MIRVs going at Mach 7 to Mach 25?

All the weaponry you have bragged about in this post are good if you are
fighting WWII or 'Nam again but you know that is not going to happen.
Russia and China have been developing their weapons to make yours
obsolete in the next war.

WWIII won't be a war of B52 and aircraft carriers. How many times do I
have to tell you before you can get that shit into your thick skull?

Ah, that's cute. As if this Biden Administration would actually
be willing to divert attention from the threat of Climate Change,
White Supremacy, Domestic Terrorists, and those who use the wrong
pronoun to misgender non-binary individuals.

No, it's not capable of handling anything like that at all.

And still beats the snot out of anything Russia can produce. It
turned Soviet SCUDS into DUDS in the first Iraq war.

Yeah, so?

>Russia and China have perfected their hypersonic missiles already and

Liar. China has three lines in production. Russia has tested one
design but can't build any more to test because they built it out of
imported parts they can't get anymore.

>All the weaponry you have bragged about in this post are good if you are
>fighting WWII or 'Nam again but you know that is not going to happen.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Ukraine hasn't received our best weapons yet. They've been kicking
Russian ass using our old stuff.

>Russia and China have been developing their weapons to make yours
>obsolete in the next war.

Trying to. Russia can't even build a toaster. They can't field their
most modern tanks in Ukraine because American Javelins cut through
their shitty, cardboard armor like a hot knife through butter. The
Russians have forbidden any of their aircraft to fly within range of
Ukraine's NATO built air defense systems and forbidden T-14s into the
theatre because they're terrified the west will find out what garbage
those are also.

>WWIII won't be a war of B52 and aircraft carriers. How many times do I
>have to tell you before you can get that shit into your thick skull?

The US already has it's WWIII weapons in testing and recently
increased funding for missile tracking satellites. Hypersonics can't
evade satellite tracking or targeting. Don't forget that we had
stealth aircraft for nearly a decade before we showed what they could
do in Iraq in '91. During the intervening thirty years we've improved
the technology considerably. In fact, the newer stuff is so capable
that the beloved thirty five year old F-117 Nightwing that surprised
Hussein and destroyed his Soviet built air defenses in 1991 has been
retired.

Russia has one model of stealth aircraft that took twenty years (1995
to 2016) to get from drawing board to sky. As an essentially twenty
six year old aircraft, it's less capable than our forty year old F-117
that was retired before Russia built the first of it's six stealth
fighters. Those are forbidden to fly *anywhere* because the two of
them sent to support the failed Kyiv campaign fell out of the sky over
Ukraine and the Russkies are still trying to figure out why.

Watching your dreams dissolve into nightmares is satisfying indeed,
comrade.

Yes, actually, it is. The latest version with the newest radar
tracking is currently our first choice for abm protection.

"The MIM-104 Patriot is a surface-to-air missile (SAM) system, the
primary of its kind used by the United States Army and several allied
states. It is manufactured by the U.S. defense contractor Raytheon and
derives its name from the radar component of the weapon system. The
AN/MPQ-53 at the heart of the system is known as the "Phased Array
Tracking Radar to Intercept on Target",[citation needed] which is a
backronym for " Patriot". The Patriot system replaced[when?] the Nike
Hercules system as the U.S. Army's primary High to Medium Air Defense
(HIMAD) system and replaced the MIM-23 Hawk system as the U.S. Army's
medium tactical air defense system. In addition to these roles,
Patriot has been given the function of the U.S. Army's anti-ballistic
missile (ABM) system, which is now Patriot's primary mission. The
