publicized how the first batch of deportees leave in just their
clothes, many will decide it is time to take their stuff and go home.

'Consequences' seems to be low on the priority scale
for said 'immigrants'. They give all their money to
coyotes and proceed on thousand-mile treks under very
bad and unsafe conditions - often with little children

Under Obama, border security spending went up as did staffing. Biden attempted to
increase border security again but the Reps in Congress found reasons to deny it.

There's a good reason the GOP doesn't want illegal immigration to go away. The need those
votes and can only get them as long as illegal immigration is a problem.

We've seen the same phenomenon regarding abortion. Since the SCOTUS decision last year,
support at state and federal level for Republican candidates has decreased.

And why should they not believe that? The Yanquis organizing the
caravan have told them so, and because currently there are no
consequences for violating US law. As long as one is part of the
protected class, there are no consequences.

But publicize that deportation means "with only your clothes"
(with a DNA sample going on file), repeat offenders will get a five
year tour at hard labor, then deported, and those who commit crimes
get an additional five years at hard labor before deportation, people
aren't stupid.
Of course, part of that is also "Do the crime, do the time". We
can start with all the DAs who are accessories before and after the
fact.

Not when the NGOs which are organizing these caravans find
themselves doing hard time along with repeat offenders.

The unfortunate part is that life in the new republic is going to
be hard. It will be a reversing the current "better a hundred guilty
go free than a single innocent suffer." Hard but fair (God willing).

And that is part of the problem. Most of us hear "illegal
immigrants" and we thing "Mexicans" or maybe "Latin Americans". But
how many think Eastern Europe? Chinese? Sub Sahara Africa?

It is not going to be a case of "building a wall" - although that
is part of it. The other part is going to be internal policy.
Decimating the progressives etcetera; enforcing the laws - no ifs and
or buts. An end to anchor babies. Proof of legal residency for
"everything". Overstay your tourist / student visa makes you here
illegally and you will be deported. We'll hold a yard sale to cover
our expenses. Those who declare themselves a sanctuary city get no
more Federal dollars. Period, end of discussion. Get caught hiring
illegal's, you too get a criminal record.
And so forth.

That which can't go on, will stop. Part of the reversal is going
to be an end to the welfare state. Limiting services will occur,
either by crashing the economy, the dollar, or just cutting
eligibility. It will not be pretty, and many are going to die who
don't deserve to.

There is a difference between unvetted and unknown "Jose", and
Mohammed, Ivan Ivanovich, Wang Wu, and Phred the Phreelancer. (How
many PLA Special Forces units have been infiltrated into the US?
Taliban cells? Azitlan revanchists? Operators for various other
players, national or "other"?)

What I am saying is that attacking Mexico is another quagmire, it
will be worse than Afghanistan or Iraq. There are too many Mexican
patriots north of the border, let alone "third party" agents who will
take the opportunity to cause troubles in CONUS. Guerrilla warfare by
multiple participants with multiple objectives.
That's before we factor in the fact that this administration is
more concerned with enabling mental illness, fighting the weather,
competency, than dealing with reality, nope nothing is going to
happen.
