quantum randomness. God seemingly plays dice
with our consciousness.

I have thoroughly explained all this in the past,
but nobody ever even pretends to understand.

Except Hank. I believe he pretends, but I find
it impossible to tell when he is kidding.

I just had to replace the fridge. Compressor blew. A lot of things
I'm handy at but that's not one of them. It was long out of warrentee.
The price to repair was almost same as a new fridge. Got a new one
with a 5year extended warrentee. Bigger crisper!

Thankfully no refrigerator problems, but I'm going to jump into this thread and
ask if the group has considered drawing names and exchanging gifts with each
other this year for Christmas?? I hope I get Carol's name as I know exactly what
I'll get her.

A dictionary!!!!!!! Or at the very least show her how to activate her spel gooder
feetchure as hers seems to be brokn. (Yes, I misspelled those words incorrectly,
they probably look correct to her.)

Her spelling errors are the least of her problems.

There's only one solution. We must send in Kuth.

He, (with bryan assisting) taught a guy english. They did such
a fine job that the man became a good high school english teacher.

If kuth also takes a bag of dope and some alprostadil, she'd
learn even more.

You couldn't pay me to give up my 81 year old Westinghouse refrigerator.
I couldn't care less what the original warranty was, because it's
still working as intended all of these years later. I'd be willing to
put money down that it will outlive your new 5 year guarantee refrigerator.

Carol has mentioned dyslexia in the past. It's not fair to taunt her
over that.

That is random and out of context, but true, it helps to maintain the
freezer temperature when there are more objects inside... So as long as
air can still circulate.

When it does give up the ghost how likely is it you'll be able to
cannibalize another one for parts?

My 5-year-guarantee refrigerator will probably outlive me. It's
out of warranty now anyway. I've got one in the basement that I
bought new in 1997 for my previous house.

Depends on the parts. My first house had a fridge of about the
same vintage as Michael's. (Of course, this was in the 1990s,
so not as old as his is now.) A relay blew and my husband was
able to obtain a suitable replacement and install it.

The worst-case scenario for Michael's fridge is loss of coolant.
You just can't buy that stuff anymore.

The trick is getting the ice free. If you buy a bag at the store, that
money would keep the fridge running for a long time.

My KA fridge in the kitchen was also bought in 1997 when I renovated.
The Bosch dishwasher is noisy but still cleans well. The Bosch oven
must be the worst they ever sold (made in Italy but N.American size).
I'd like to get a new range and DW but at my age I wonder whether it's
worthwhile as when I snuff it or downsize, my house will be demolished
and a new monster built in its place.

Thus her overwhelming need for an online dictionary. It's included free with
her Windows and will underline her glaring misspelling mistakes and offer
her the correct spelling. All she has to do it click on the correct spelling and
it will automatically change that boo-boo she made.

Years ago had friends who kept an old 'fridge in their basement for
pop and beer, when it finally died they found their power bill was
nearly half, so sometimes it doesn't pay to keep them running.
