Outlook, at the office) it's not auto-correct, which can lead to some
really weird word substitutions. Spell check brings up a list of words
and you choose one, or not.

Yep, if the word is correct the dialog box comes up and says "no
misspelled words". If there's a list of words, chances are you didn't
spell something correctly.

been there coninuously since (excepting household goods in transit

I'd imagine we all know how it works but eitherway, the only windows
(or DOS) one hasn't made ispell for xananews in so many years, it can't
be sourced anymore. It's just not that big of a deal for me.

I ran one for a few years. It was fun. I had a regular bunch of users
and we had occasional social events. I ran it on an old AT that I had
upgraded to an AT and had a separate phone line. Then I got 386 and a
faster modem and switched to the internet and usenet.

I started in Hawaii with a coredata. Dual floppy drives! No HD.
Screaming 4.77 megahurtz in turbo! Went 386 in 1989 and upgraded my
300baud original USR modem to 2400baud then over time, the V.everything
33.6. I've been telnet only since arrival back in the states in 2007.
Current modem is a courier 33.6 v.everything but not enabled as all I
get is fax spam, spam calls, or angry people looking for Sentara (one
number off mine).
