Norway has Ada Hegerberg back, that might just be enough to get them through. I know almost nothing about Austria, other than that they made the semis 4 years ago.

France, with a backbone made up of players from the dominant Lyon and PSG teams, should be clear favorites here, and they are my overall favorites for the cup, even if they have always disappointed at the NT level. Italy looks like it might have an edge for second place, but some of the key players of this group are on the wrong side of 30, and there isn't too much new blood coming up through the ranks.

I think you over estimate Germany and under estimate Spain. Spain are clear favourites and Denmark look more likely than Germany to come out of this group.

Yeah I think these two are the likely candidates, I dont know what the Portuguese Women's program is like, but it seems to be far behind the men. DO they even have a Swiss Womens league?

I would say France and then take your guess for second. Iceland would be a nice story if they could do what the men did a few years back. You know how all Icelandic men names end in "son", all the women's names end in "dottir". It is true just look at the roster ( dont know how that Danish girl got on the team?)

I thought the Danish keeper was weak, but I only saw the 2nd half. I actually had to use cell phone data to watch this! cus all of ontario is without internet, well not all, just if you get it through coax.

Like MLS, I cant really gauge the soccer quality, it is hard to tell if Germany were that good or Denmark that bad? Would not surprise me if Danes beat Spain, chick football is pretty even when it comes to the good teams.

Netherlands v Sweden tonight. Probably the best 2 teams at the Olympics. That one should be fun. Especially if the Netherlands carry on scoring and conceding goals as much as they did at the Olympics. If I remember correctly, their matches then finished 10-3, 3-3, 8-2 and 2-2!
