Lets remember this - Moscow as most of the major cities in Russia was reduced to nothing more than ruble by the Germans. These Churches were ALL built by public subscription by people that didn't even know where their next meal was coming from. What power the Russian Government presently holds is absolutely nothing compared to that achievement,. Public "subscription"? I think you might mean "conscription" instead.
However, neither term applies. The major churches in Moscow were
built by the reigning monarchs of the time:

their craftsmen and workers. There may have been some corvee labor
which was free labor provided by the feudal lords and vassals in order
to keep their positions. However, I didn't see any evidence of that

I'm not a student of Russia but from little I have read about the
country and what I have observed in Asia I suggest that the general
population has it better under the Communists then they had under the
Tsars.

And, yes I know, that is an unpopular viewpoint, but read a bit of
history.

Wikipedia says the Kremin walls were built back in 1485-1495. Many of the buildings inside were built in the 1300, 1400, 1500, 1600, 1700, 1800s. Last were built about 1851. As you state the Germans attacked Moscow in late 1941, early 1942. 90 years after the last buildings were built in the Kremlin. So I'm not sure how Moscow could be reduced to rubble and the Kremlin still standing. But maybe Tommy boy can explain it to us.

OK. I'm guessing under the Tsars most of Russia's east and south was not part of Russia yet. It was all conquered, acquired, later. So the people were just tribes wandering about and fighting each other willy nilly. And probably even under the Tsar's there was not much real control. The Tsar just sent his soldiers every now and then to extract the annual stipend. But under the communists, everyone obeyed because there was direct control at hand. So much less wandering and fighting. Guessing their life was a 1 under the Tsar, and became a 2 under the communists. An improvement!!!!!!!!!

Also remember, the vast majority of Russia is the hinter lands. Russia really does not have much except natural resources buried in the ground. Modern resources such as oil and gas and iron and coal are only useful in modern times. Not 200 years ago. Lumber is really only useful if you have people that need it to build houses. No people, no need for lumber. All of Russia's farmland is located between the Black Sea and Caspian Sea and along the southern Kazakhstan border. The vast majority of Russia cannot feed itself. If you look at the population map of Russia, all the people live near the farmland.

As you state the Germans attacked Moscow in late 1941, early 1942. 90 years after the last buildings were built in the Kremlin. So I'm not sure how Moscow could be reduced to rubble and the Kremlin still standing. But maybe Tommy boy can explain it to us.

Sio now Russell proves himself an ass and an idiot at the same time. The Luftwaffe were determined to kill Stalin so they were determined to destroy the Kremlin. But the antiaircraft fire was far too heavy around the Kremlin. So the Luftwaffe dropped some 95,000 fire bombs into the urban area around the city of Moscow turning the city itself into burned out and blow up rubble. The stupid six will lie about this because that is what they do. They will show a military march around the Kremlin because that was an area of Moscow unaffected. They have absolutely no care for the truth.
